Vitamin D supplementation
I have been taking a 25mcg tablet of this for the past couple of years, have also been taking two high strength fish oil capsules per day in the hope that these would help my idiopathic neuropathy. I stupidly didn't realize that fish oil capsules also contain vitamin D and so I am a bit concerned that

Not keen on aspirin? Here's what Nutritional Therapist with a PhD in oncology is offering me...
Hi all I have a history of gastritis, so I'm not keen on what pubmed and other places say about lifetime aspirin. Here's what my Nutritional Therapist (with a PhD in Oncology) says (for me at least). Be aware this is as part of an entire approach to natural health, not just popping a pill, and everyone's

How I Conquered Heart-Disease and What I Have Learned in the Process
Before I relay the story, please read this first: What is the nature of your diet? Do you consume: - soft drinks, alcohol or fruit juices? If so, how often? - pasta, rice, bread, pizza, potatoes? - potato chips (crisps), pretzels, crackers? - fried foods (including fried eggs)? French fries? -

My Years with IBS
Just discovered this forum and joined. I have had stomach issues from a very young age, about 6 but, was diagnosed with IBS in my thirties over 40 years ago. In the beginning, I used to get violent bouts of diarrhoea that would hit me whilst still eating a meal. It was so embarrassing that I hated eating

Intrinsic factor
I am supplementing 5mg of methyl b12 sublingual daily. Will this affect the results if an intrinsic factor test? I decided to supplement myself after having low normal b12 238. Since supplementing the numbness and tingling has improved greatly. However I am still very off balance when walking. Any advice

Do you need folate/folic acid with injections?
Should injections be accompanied with a folate/folic acid supplement, there seem to be many differing opinions out there.

Supplements for ADHD?
Hi everyone, my 6 yo has just been diagnosed with adhd. We are starting Guanfacine and have been recommended omega-3 fish oil. I’m seeing a lot of varying recommendations on the internet for potency - does anyone have perspectives on what potency / ratio of the 3 / 6 in the fish oil is recommended? Thanks

Reliable PA test
Is there a test for P A that is completely reliable? I mentioned to doctor that I’d read intrinsic factor test could be unreliable and she got irritated with me and said what’s the point of doing it if I don’t trust results! Just want to know for sure.

New here and desperate for advice
I'm new here and felling lost. B12 at 165 but GP won't treat as I'm vegetarian (eat LOADS of eggs + other dairy and Marmite!). Up to 2yrs ago, was receiving injections but these stopped when I had a blood test that showed a higher level of B12 after months of talking iron supplements for plain old anemia

Physical symptoms of depression?
Hello everyone. I’d really appreciate if you would take the time to read my story. I wonder if anyone has been through the same and if you’ve learnt something after this (and if so please do tell). I’m a 21 year old male. About 6 years ago I remember being bothered by strange symptoms. I would wake
