Consolidating and chipping away the miles
Haven’t posted in a bit: I am chipping away at my target mileage for the month (aiming for 20+ to achieve 250 over the year: modest for many but an achievable challenge for me), running usually twice a week, 4 or 5k each run. Managed three runs this week: a gentle 3.5k shuffle this afternoon to take

Hi everyone, just saying a warm hello to the community. I'm in the Stage 4C incurable platinum refractory club - a really rubbish subdivision of a club that in any event no-one wants to be member of! In Memoriam ... herb_8789 left our world in March 2018
I belatedly learned from his family today that Herb left our world in March 2018 as a result of his advanced prostate cancer. Herb ( herb_8789 ) did not post/reply here extensively, but he was always generous with me in Chats and personal emails we exchanged in 2017, and he followed this forum closely

Chemo Brain
Hi. Mom has had her 1st chemo treatment and then spent 13 days in palliative care in hospital. We won’t have her mapping/markers back until new year. She is taking Tylenol 3 and gabapentin. She has linocane patch as well as marinol and a anti nausea patch behind her ear. She has a lot of memory issues

New here
Hi there. I'm new to the group. I've recently been diagnosed with heart failure and LVSD. Spent two weeks in the hospital getting things controlled and have been out for two weeks. I'm not feeling too badly right now. In many ways better than I have in quite some time - breathing is good. Right now

Ongoing GI side effects from Yervoy
It's been a week of extremes. Our youngest daughter got married on Sunday, and it was such a day of joy. There were smiling family, happy friends, beautiful bride and groom, new in-laws, great weather (outdoor ceremony!), dinner and dancing, and I ended the night sitting by an outdoor fire overlooking
