Heart attack & 25 minuet cardiac arrest
Shortly after this he went into
cardiac
arrest
on the Coronary Care Unit. He was shocked several times over a period of 25 minutes before they could stabilise him. He was then in an induced coma with some hypothermic treatment for 8 days.

Shortness of breath
I had a Cardiac Ablation for AFib seven weeks ago. I am still experiencing shortness OB breath that has not improved. I have discussed this with my cardiologist and he says it will get better. I returned to work two weeks after the ablation and I am having a very hard time working because of the shortness

Sudden Cardiac Arrest
My brother in law suffered sudden
cardiac
arrest
on Friday evening. He was receiving CPR for 20 minutes before the paramedics arrived and an in-work defibrillator was also used. He’s been in intensive care in a medically induced coma since then.

Anxiety and Cardiac Arrest? Please Help!
I’ve been having this overwhelming feeling lately about
cardiac
arrest
. You would think with someone with a rapid heartbeat regularly would be a prime candidate for something like that. Please tell me I’m wrong! I’ve read about it a little, but I shouldn’t even googled anything.

It’s a long process
What happened was that I had gone into
cardiac
arrest
. I was blue lighted to the great people at Glenfield Hospital. I woke up two days later in intensive care and being told I am a very lucky man as I had a LUCAS machine to help keep my chest compressions going and also I had down time of 70 mins.

Recovery is hard
I am 6 days post hospital trip where I was diagnosed with viral meningitis. I have been on bed rest & attempted to go back to work yesterday. Bad idea, I almost passed out. I am now finding that I get lightheaded even talking to people. If I don’t stop then I feel that I will faint. I also have difficulty

VT diagnosis and cardiac ablation. Would you do it?
I’ve recently been through the full gamut of testing (ECG, Holter, CT scan, stress test). Everything came back normal except for my holter which did show a small run of VT. I had a few ectopic beats during the stress test and I feel those several times a day, which I hate, but have been told repeatedly

Does Hydroxurea give you nightmares?
Hello Lovely members, I have ET ( JAK2 ), aged 56 and for 9 years just took I Cartia per day (1/2 aspirin) as level was around 900. This year, I had an atypical stroke/seizure whilst asleep (after forgetting to take the Cartia) which showed up clearly on an MRI, so I started Hydroxurea (Hydrea) at 1

Happy 2 year lungaversary to me!!!!
It's not been easy I tell yer, 3 months after transplant I had to have my other lung removed due to aspergillus but that went completely wrong and I went into
cardiac
arrest
four times and ended up in a coma on ecmo for three months with a trachy. Doctors said I wouldn't make it thru the night.

Lifestyle change and bye to pain Carpal Tunnel surgery not needed!
You see, sadly, mother passed away at age 68 from Alzheimer’s, my father a hunter and fisherman suffered
cardiac
arrest
at age 75 WHILE DOING WHAT HE LOVED IN THE OUTDOORS - fishing at the lake, and my only brother suffered sudden cardiac death this year at age 57 after a harsh sneeze.

Hopeless...nothing will get better
My lifelong best friend, more like my brother, died suddenly of
cardiac
arrest
at age 41 in 2013, leaving behind his 11 year old and 14 year old kids. I have never got over it. I've never had many friends, but he was the one person in this world I trusted to tell everything, and we talked so much.
