Angiogram at last!
Since being diagnosed (over the phone!) with suspected angina last November I've been waiting for an angiogram appointment, that day is nearly here! I go in on Monday and am feeling more than a little anxious! I know a lot of people here have had at least 1 and I shouldn't worry so much but my stomach

After transfer
Hiya I’m totally worrying about what to do after transfer. Some say to have bed rest, others say to get on with every day life. The problem is we will be in Spain for the two weeks so we won’t be doing ‘normal’ life. My brain is going like over drive… will it be 🥵 too hot. Will I be too active, not

Thoughts on hypoxic brain injury recovery?
She woke up the next day and spoke to us on the phone then released to a general ward where a few hours later we got a call she had gone into
cardiac
arrest
and no one knows why. The outlook from the medical team is very pessimistic saying there's almost no chance of any recovery.

Bed rest after embryo transfer?
Hi everyone, Wondering if I could get your thoughts on bed rest after embryo transfer. Next week, the day after the planned transfer, I've been asked to do a presentation at work. It has been in the calender for months. I don't think it will be too stressful but will involve me travelling to get to work

Upcoming FET
So I am having my 5th FET on Thursday (all being well with the thaw) it will be my 6th transfer in total and it is also the last of my embryos from my first round of ICSI from October 2019! It feels like it’s been ongoing a long time. Anyway I was just wanting any tips or tricks for keeping myself chilled

Telling my car insurer about my recent cardiac arrest.
I went to A&E with chest pains on the 16th of April, where I was whisked to Wythenshawe University Hospital catheter lab, where I arrested and was revived after 8 minutes. A stent and a balloon and I'm fine again - walking, mowing the lawn and light cycling. Apparently I don't need to inform the DVLA

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Did anyone else suffer from very frequent ectopic beats after cardiac ablation?
I had an ablation on Thursday (today is Monday) and since Saturday evening I’ve had frequent ectopic beats it’s started sparse but it’s nearly 30 an hour, most hours now. I have experienced them before but never to this degree the last two days have been hell never been so stressed and anxious they feel

Is AF going to shorten my life??
I have continual AF, irregular beats and a resting heart rate around 100bpm. I am on 10 mg Bisoprolol, which means my heart rate never goes above 125 bpm. My quality of life is fairly good, and I am not particularly breathless. I have seen two cardiologists. One says that my condition shouldn't shorten

What do I do?
Last year February 2020 I had a
Cardiac
Arrest
and my Heart Stopped for 8 Mins. I also have COPD and Asthma,so this is why being strapped down in a MRI Machine did me no favours . There must be another way to check my Heart is working ok,as till this day I feel all sorts going on in my chest.

Ectopic beats and anxiety
Hi all, new to here. I'm 24 and last year I had a cardiac ablation to reduce ectopic beats. I've been ok but still suffering with some and now when I get them they feel more scary than ever. What can I do to try and help them or for me to stop worrying about them. I've been told they will never 100%

Weird post ablation
Hi guys. I had a cardiac ablation for Afib on 4/21/21. Immediately after the surgery I had a hematoma in the abdomen. That was painful but not a big deal. 5 days later started getting what feels like jolts of shocks to my chest usually in the center. I feel it more when I lay down at night or just

Mayo Clinic cardiac ablation
Wondering if by chance any of you have had an ablation at Mayo Clinic in USA? On their website they mention they have 3D imaging and I don’t know that that is common in all hospitals. My afib has gotten worse and I need to at least try another ablation.
