Hi...just had more blood tests done & stool test, the stool test was for faecal calprotectin & was 156, not hugely over the 100, I've just had scheduled telephone consultation with Dr & he says to test again in 6 weeks, does that sound right? any help much appreciated...I've been having bowel issues for years & I've just put it down to ibs issues.

Have you tried using probiotics or yogurt with probiotics? They are not a cure by any means but I have Crohns and I know yogurt eaten daily has helped my bowels considerably. It may or may not help you but they are worth a try as I don’t think there is any downside.
