Fresh ginger works !!
I had asthma attack a few days ago. The mucus was blocking my throat that made me difficult to breath. So I ran into the kitchen and put a slice of ginger into my mouth. After chewing it for about a minute , I started to feel it was working . I continued to have fresh ginger tea on the following days

Supplementation for PMR - calcium/magnesium/potassium ratios
Can anyone recommend the ratios for calcium/magnesium/potassium supplementation for PMR? and which type of calcium is best? Very recently diagnosed and want to preserve bone health. Thank you.

Sleep is complicated or perhaps not so much
I am 61 and have had various issues with insomnia. In many ways now I have less of a problem than I had previously, but I have learnt a lot and I now take quite a range of supplements that enable me to handle sleep issues so at times I am no longer tired during the day. I have joined this forum to see

Hi, I've been reading here for a couple of years but this is my first post. I found the forum when, almost 2 years ago, I suddenly had a lot of ectopic heartbeats. I was in the shower and stressed out and they just suddenly started. I was having stomach pain at the time (stress) and after a couple

24 hr urine test
Hi, I am a 53 year old female. Just had a 24hr urine test that came up with some out of range results. Phosphate concentration came up low: result 9.8 mmol/L, normal range 11-44 mmol/L, but the total phosphate per day was normal at 22.5 mmol/day within the range of 11-45 mmol/day. Is the low concentration

PAD or sciatica
I don't know if I have PAD or sciatica. My calves (particularly the left) really hurt when I lie in bed. Tingly occasionally as well but I can go and walk two or three miles with barely a twinge. Always have bad back when I get up in the morning. Had a CT angio 4 years with Zero calcium score. I thought

Health Anxiety Again
I’m freaking out because I use a Cbd oil complex that takes 3 hours for me to feel as a tincture. I hold it under my tongue, but I truly don’t feel it for 2-3 hours. Now I’m convinced something is wrong with my bloodstream that it doesn’t take 15 minutes. Anyone else know anything about this? Everything

Gluten free brown seeded bread.
Hi everyone, I baked this this morning, I really like home baked goods and especially with gluten free bread feel its well worth the effort because my home smells nice and I get to eat it. I don't like many shop bought items so am happy to cook most things from scratch. Here's the recipe 340g Gluten

Rising Calcium
I know calcium is very very tightly regulated mineral in the body and I know it can't be much out of range without causing some serious problems but I'm just wondering if anybody else has had a rise in calcium? It appears the high end is 10.5 for my lab. I was 10.6 in March and then 10.0 in April and
