Vitamin D and Covid-19 Perhaps this information has not been previously posted
https://borsche.de/res/Vitamin_D_Essentials_EN.pdf It does mention, when taking a vitamin D supplement, that you must take 200mcg of vitamin K2 to prevent a build up of calcium in the blood which could cause arthritis. If possible, getting a blood test to determine your D levels is likely a good idea

So I decided to buy some of those Rapide

Help with latest results please
I’d appreciate the advice of forum members as to where to go next with dosing. I’ve spent the last two years improving my vitamin levels thanks to this forum. It’s made a huge difference! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me so much. I am moving from T3 only to T4 and T3. These are my latest

Can you swing from Hypo to Hyper and when you do, can continuing with Thyroid meds actually make your symptoms worse?
Hi All Any ideas gratefully received on why my main symptom of muscle aches, especially of the vastus medialis, (I am a keen cyclist) have become worse, despite my thyroid numbers improving on the usual thyroid meds? I was diagnosed Hypo in May last year by these Medichecks results from 26/4/19 TSH

Occipital pain, fearing cervical (C1/C2) mets, anyone experienced occipital pain or had cervical mets?
Waiting for a cervical MRI + bone density measurement, my husband is having occipital pain since a month. It got better, but is still there. PSA 60, ALP in normal range (bone AP as well), calcium normal range, last PSMA 6 months ago showed nothing new (2 lymph nodes involvement, seminal invasion, possible

Difference between calcium citrate and calcium carbonate
I just read an article that someone who takes antacids should be taking calcium citrate. I have big stomach issues so I take a lot of different things for my stomach and I had never heard this. My latest dexa scan indicated more damage to my bones in the last two years. I already suffer from severe osteoporosis

NEW BROOM and all that!!!
I read a post recently from somebody who had a new GP and what a difference that had made. WELL, from my previous posts you will note my not so helpful GP and Nurse Practitioner and that I'm waiting "until after Covid" (according to them) for a further blood test. On Monday I had an unfortunate 'episode

Burning feet, tingling, cramp
Hi. I’m on 150mg Thyroxine a day and have been for about 10 years. I’m type 1 diabetic since childhood, epileptic and coeliac. My feet are so sore now I can’t walk. The diabetic nurse said it wasn’t neuropathy as I have a good pulse and reflexes. They burn on the balls of the feet after 10 minutes, then

Phone Consultation with Cardiologist
My appointment was converted to a phone call. He was 1/2hr late. Rang the wrong phone despite me asking for my mobile to be the means. Didn't have the ECG and blood results the GP ran for me a couple of weeks ago and sent directly to the cardiologist's secretary. Apart from that... I wanted to switch

Hey everyone. I'm a bit new here. This is going to be a bit of a long one but I guess I'll start by stating the obvious: I've been suffering from some pretty nasty anxiety since January. I've always been an anxious person to some extent but it never really interfered with my day to day life, or they
