ANA Positive 1:80 Nucleolar pattern 2013 and ongoing pain. The last 5 weeks I can barely walk.
I paid privately for another ANA test and awaiting the results which should be with me today. I have Hashimotos, B12 Deficiency with positive Gastric Parietal Cell Abs but no diagnosis of Pernicious Aneamia. For the past 8 years I’ve been back and forth to my GP with mainly pain in my lower joints,

Can anyone help or advise please?
Hi, I've had a swollen thyroid on one side for several months, the ultrasound scan I had in January found it to be about 40mm diameter. I have (as yet) had no symptoms thankfully & all blood tests came back ok so no hypo- or hyper- thyroidism. I had a FNA biopsy in January too & it was found to be "inconclusive

Waiting on test results
How long does it normally take to know my test results of an Iodine test from yourselves via Genova?

Looking for adhesion pain advice
Hello to you reading this 💛 I was diagnosed 2018, 4 laparoscopies (2 bodged NHS and 2 private excision). I am now left with painful adhesions in my pelvis where Endometriosis was removed. I’m taking 150mcg Desogestrel daily so I don’t have a period (I had an abnormal bleed last week for 4 days, first

Neck resection and thyroidectomy
I had a left hemi thyroidectomy 3 years ago and 3 doctors at the time felt that was sufficient. My latest US shows papillary cells in the lymph nodes on the left and central neck. I am scheduled for a left lymph node resection and removal of the right remaining thyroid at Mt Sinai on 4/20. I am so nervous

Opinion please on possible Pleurisy
I was diagnosed with Pleurisy 3 weeks ago. Symptoms were fever, chills, aching and horrendous middle back pain, tight chest. GP said he could not hear any sounds with stethoscope and I had no cough but prescribe antibiotics. I was still left with the back pain and my chest is tight and particularly

Endocrinologist advice and T3 reaction
Hi there again, hope you are all well. I am looking for some recommendations and advice if possible please. So I started taking t3 alongside t4 in February (after some help from this forum) building the dose up slowly to 20mg a day alongside 100mg of Levo. I had a bad skin reaction mainly on my face

Duloxetine - effects?
Hi there, I'm giving duloxetine (60mg/day) a try for endo pain management. It's day two for me, and it's said to work in 2 to 4 weeks. Yesterday, I had an upset stomach, and was very fatigued from it. Today, my stomach is fine, but I'm still rather fatigued (my ears are ringing a bit like how they ring

Test results and advice
I am wondering if you can help. Recently had to change GP due to house move and the one I see has been very good t an extent. Today heard from a different one who was no use. I had requested certain blood tests but it seems these are the only ones they did.....managed to get a copy. Serum free T4 level

How much endo pain to endure, keeping on trying to work?
Hiya, I have a strange question about endo I hope you can help me with. I get to be one of the rare, lucky few with endo on my appendix (and colon, and other places too). I went to see the out-of-hours GP because I wasn't coping with the pain. The GP kindly gave me a remedy pack with codeine, diclofenac

From hyper to hypo after RAI. Glad to exchange with anybody who can relate.
I wrote my story on my profile. I’ll be glad to communicate with anyone who has / had a similar experience and of course all advice is gratefully accepted. This site has been, still is a lifeline to me and I’m extremely thankful to all the generous people who have advised me here. Unfortunately, I'm

Transitioning from 150mcg of Thyroxine to Metavive help please
Hi. I have been on 150 mcg of Thyroxine for 20 years. I am 54 and male. What prompted the switch: I recently started getting a lot of itching and hives on my arms particularly and other areas. I consulted a homeopath and found I was likely experiencing allergic reaction to Thyroxine. The treatment appears

Duloxetine
Hi Paige, I have taken Duloxetine for 10 years. I take the highest dose of 120mg slow release once a day in the morning. I am very susceptible to drugs but apart from piling weight on I have had none. It keeps me sane. I also take Amitryptyline 20mg at night and 30/500 Codeine phosphate Paracetamol.

Opioid Analgesics. Withdrawal from patients already prescribed long term.
I despair when I see this need for a person to get a "High" from a drug. These are the people who are causing medication to become higher class drugs and in the case of Codeine, which I am fighting the MHRA and Depth of health, to being withdrawn from sensible patients who benefit from relief of pain
