Does anyone else just feel fobbed off all the time?
So I am having a really bad flare up - I am on day 5 and have just been in so much pain. I have been up to the doctors and hospital and sent home with codeine (which actually isn’t that helpful as it causes more issues) and I have been referred to the specialist which is about an 8 week wait. Any tips

Pregabalin **Update from previous post **
I will copy and paste previous post and update accordingly. Been suffering severe RLS for over two years since stopping pregabalin very abruptly in February 2020 (which I regret) for anxiety. Prior to that had adverse reaction to Lorazepam (January 2020). Was also on Mitazipine (stopped May 2020) and

New here and just wanted a little advice as it isn't forthcoming from my consultant. Treatment following iodine treatment.
After years of trying unsuccessfully to sort my hyperthyroidism I had my iodine treatment at the end of June. I waited ages to see my consultant but finally saw him in Sept when he requested a blood test (results attached) I then had a phone call to say the results showed the treatment had worked and

Has anyone tried Mirtazapine?
My doctors put me on these. I’d say there great for sleeping but don’t seem to be helping anything else. I am still using codeine to control the symptoms. I don’t use them every day. But I find they work. The most I use is 3 or maybe 4 on a bad day. I prefer them to Imodium because for some reason Imodium

Pfizer and diaphragm problem
After having Pfizer I believe it has caused a diaphragm problem problem for me. I had my second shot in May. Shortly after I was selling all my furniture and ending up sleeping on pillows on the floor as I sold my bed. I had a few aches at first but on my right side it was there constantly. I just

1 Week Post RAI Question/Symptoms?
I received the treatment dose of RAI 8 days ago and had my full body scan on Thursday. I experienced severe swollen glands for a day after treatment and now no sense of taste - very bland taste always in my mouth. I woke up in the middle of the night last night very dizzy. I got up to get a drink and

JoeR. Coming of Pramipexole and codeine. Thanks to all and especially Madlegs1, Joolsg and Elffindoe
Thanks for the swift replies, at least I am not going mad. Just to clarify I was on one tablet of Pramipexole 0.52mg at night and 2x30mg of codeine. JoeR. Coming of Pramipexole, RLS, going on Gabapentin Noumed and passing out when I am standing.
What's happening and why. I have had RLS for 40 years and was on Pramipexole 0.52 prolonged-release tablets and 60mg codeine at night which has stopped working. I am now on Gabapentin Noumed 3x300mg. It is my first week but its horrific because at night when I am walking around the house because of the

Can anyone advise if I'm heading in the right direction please?
Good afternoon (just) I was just wondering if anyone could confirm I'm heading in the right direction with these results please? (Attached) I'm hoping so. I've been taking 100mcg Levothyroxine and be advised to continue with the same dose. My previous results 6wks ago were TSH - 49.60 (0.3 - 5.6) Free

Severe rls
My rls is now so severe my insomnia is worse than ever I’m still awake at 3 and 4am. The last time I spoke to my neurologist she suggested Rotigotine patches or ropinirole tablets but I refused because of my fears of augmentation I now am thinking maybe I should go down that road but with caution I

Should I supplement iodine?
Morning, I have hashimotos which I seem for the most past to keep the antibodies down. I'm very symptomatic for low thyroid function but still fighting to get some kind of help medication wise. I've got a goiter, or large cyst that's growing considerably fast. Probably about 3 to 4 cm in the last year
