Mebeverine?
Hi everyone,I went to the doctor today to ask about a prescribed IBS treatment as
buscopan
hasn't been affective and she has given me Mebeverine to try. I wanted to ask if anyone has been taking it and has it helped? Thanks.

Help or Advice
I take
buscopan
(which my doctor recommended) when I was younger, but they don't seem to be working anymore. I am running out of things that can prevent attacks because they are having a massive effect on my day to day life.

Morphine for pain
However, despite taking diclofenac, tramadol, codeine, and
buscopan
all at the same time, I am still in significant pain! The GP today basically said "well it works a little so that's that!" He also claimed he has never heard of people taking morphine for endo pain.

Buscopan?
She suggested that I take
buscopan
as it is an antisposmadic. I've been taking 2 tablets twice a day for about 2 weeks and so far I'm still pooping when I'm anxious. Has
buscopan
helped for anyone else and what other things are people taking?

Help for my son, please
We first visited the GP when he was at home, and studying for his A levels, and the symptoms were put down to exam nerves and he was given
buscopan
and colpermine, they didn't clear up so we saw a consultant, eventually, who put his symptoms down to a reaction to food poisoning some months previously

Just had Doc Appr with my 18yr old son. PA in the family!
Been taking ranitidine and
buscopan
which helps his symptoms. Was told to use Fodmap diet, Gp now thinks it's ibs. I've asked Gp to do IF blood Test which will be done next week. GPC test was negative. Coeliac was negative. Last blood test results : FBC 141g/L ref range 135-175.

No mebeverien or

touched at all! Just my experience anyway I really hope that it helps someone as I know dealing with ibs is hard.

Super chilled and good news
Very relieved and feeling lucky, also can't remember a thing....had
Buscopan
(20mg) Midazolam (1.5mg) and Pethidine (50mg)...worked a treat. No pain afterwards and have lost a few lbs to boot. Blood test booked for Monday to check everything, especially my thyroid levels as still very fatigued.

Teenage daughter with IBS
I have bought her some peppermint tablets and
Buscopan
for the cramps and spasms, is there any other products that may help? We are due a visit to the GP this week but think it is also good to hear from others who are experiencing the same things as she is. Thanks

Doctors unsure but think it's IBS
I've been on mebeverine for a month and a half now (
buscopan
gave me really bad side affects such as shortness of breath). I'm still getting the low pelvic (really low down, below belly button area more pubic area) cramping but it's dulled.

I'm new here, possible endometriosis
I was told to try
buscopan
as my issues could be bowel related however they had no affect. I have also been experiencing sharp pain in my left breast and pain/bleeding when I get aroused.

Gallbladder Problems
They put me on
buscopan
which seems to be helping, but still struggling to eat and it is slowly my bowels down dramatically! The radiating pain is pretty much gone but there is still a dull ache/pressure feeling under my ribs, which every so often gets worse and then settle back down.

burning sensation primarily behind & under right hand rib cage - driving me nuts
Have tried anti acid tablets,
buscopan
and mebeverine and would genuinely appreciate any responses to similar symptoms, have tried to stop drinking alcohol and that hasn't helped, stopped smoking over 3 months ago and that's not helped symptoms.
