Hi, In currently I am not diagnosed with APS, but my Beta-2 Glycoprotein 2 IGM is 28.75 POSITIVE (0-20 is Normal Limit) What I am experiencing is chorea-like movement disorder, mild but so annoying muscle twiches. Muscle flings all around me, difficult to see and diagnose. And also having some difficulties

Is IGM of 23 & neuro symptoms enough for diagnosis/treatment?
Hi all, Currently stuck in diagnosis limbo land for the past 3 months, wondering if it might be Hughes. Do you think my results below are enough for a Hughes diagnosis? Anticardiolipin IGM antibodies are: 23 (1.5 month ago) 20 (1 week ago). Negative for all other APS tests (lupus and anti-B2GP1

interpretting immunoglobulins reading
Hi, I dont know if anyone can make sense of my blood test readings. I'm hoping to see a GP at some point but every stage seems to involve a 2 or 3 weeks wait so I'm trying to speed the process. I have felt unwell (not seriously unwell) for about 5 months. I first went to the GP in November where I was

Study:Antiphospholipid antibodies correlate with stroke severity and outcome in patients with antiphospholipid syndrome

Could these neuro symptoms be Hughes Syndrome?
Hi all. I'm struggling to get a diagnosis for neurological symptoms that hit me suddenly 3 months ago. I tested positive for anticardiolipin IGM about a month ago with my level at 23 and am awaiting another follow up test. I know I won't be sure until I get the test confirmation, but I was wondering

Mis-diagnoses?
Hi everyone, Happy New Year. I was diagnosed with APS in 2008 at St Mary's hospital, London(early MC hospital). I have visited St Thomas also as an APS patient. Last month I saw a hematologist. It was a bad day for me as I was feeling smoggy/confused. I had questions to ask but never got around to any

Fluctuating AMA positive, normal LFTs, raised IgM and ANA
I've been doing the rounds of consultants and blood tests since I hopped on the AMA bandwagon nearly two years ago, and somewhat frustratingly, my AMA has been been a weak positive for the three blood test done through my GP, and negative twice when done through Queen Elizabeth hospital. It's frustrating

Confused about beta2glycoprotein cutoff
Hi, I have tested positive for beta2glycoprotein IGM 3 times in the past 4 months. My value was 21 each time and the cutoff for positive is 20. The interpretive info says 20 is the 99th percentile and my result is suggestive of APS. I have also read that the value needs to be over 40 to be diagnostic

GP Appointment
Just an update and a moan! I had a GP appointment to find out the results of the latest batch of blood tests because of the vasculitis on Friday. There are several that are high ESR, IgG, IgM, C Reactive Protein but Lupus is ok. This GP is concerned enough to fax the Rheumy's secretary to ask him to
