Has anyone been tested for immunoglobulins?? I had a test done for another ailment I have and the IgA and IgM were below range. Are immunoglobulins anything to do with having Graves??

Mild CTD?
Hi everyone, After many years my rheumatologist has finally concurred that I appear to have a mild connective tissue disease - possibly Lupus (which I have been convinced of for a long time) Apparently I don't meet all of the criteria but my clinical presentation combined with minor variations in blood

DNA profiling = DNA vaccines .. Not As Dramatic As Einstein E = Mc2 BUT Just As Enlightening
Lesson 2# MY DNA Genome Sequencing WHAT have I learnt this week. DNA profiling is all about THE numbers ... funny how some in medical profession DISAGREE say maths have nothing to do with it BUT what I have discovered IS there is big waves being made to fight diseases and illnesses a cost affective way

Stages?
Could anyone explain what what the various stages are as I haven't a clue. The letter diagnosing me from the specialist was vague at best. It just says that the gamma GT is 38 just above the normal 35 and igM was marginally elevated. In her words "I therefore guess we do have the diagnostic criteria

Got some tests results back...
Looks like I don't have APS based on these test results. Also dr said they were normal, but still wanted to run them. Here goes, may have missed one...nurse copied results more than once and interpretative information from the lab all ran together... Anti Phospholipid panel: Phosphatidyl serine Antibody

Hi, I am on a NHS waiting list for gallbladder surgery as I have a large gallstone that's causing me pain. (I am in the UK.) High Anti-beta2-glycoprotein-1 test results - advice needed.
Hi, I've just had Hughes Screening blood tests done via Medichecks. Everything was within range normal except for BETA-2-GLYCOPROT 1 ABS: IGG and BETA-2-GLYCOPROT 1 ABS: IGM. Both were just out of range high, i.e. both were 20 in a range of 0.000 - 19.990. I believe that I should have these retested

Unrecordable Immunoglobulins - any advice?
Hi everyone, It’s been a while since I last posted, but 2015 was such a hellish year - 6 months of BR starting in January 2015, during which I had 2 hospitalisations with neutropenic sepsis and continuous chest infections lasting throughout the remainder of the year. It kind of gets a person down after

Common Variable Immune Deficiency
Compared to other human immune defects, CVID is a relatively frequent form of primary immunodeficiency, found in about 1 in 25,000 persons; this is the reason it is called “common.” The degree and type of deficiency of serum immunoglobulins, and the clinical course, varies from patient to patient, hence

Raised immunoglobulins anyone?
Hello! I have APS (diagnosed as primary obstetric), hashimotos & coeliac disease, also fibromyalgia. I'm not currently under the care of a consultant for my APS. My gastroenterologist, for my yearly coeliac check up, orders loads of bloods. Some of them are not specifically coeliac related but autoimmune
