Test results confusion
Hi, Please could someone help me understand my recent blood results! I've just got a copy as have been advised to keep copies from now on ( only recently diagnosed!). I'm aware that alkaline phosphatase and alanine transaminase are expected to be raised. My IGG and IGM is also raised. Is this to be expected

LYME DISEASE. What to do?
Hi, this thyroid protocols are going to get me crazy. I not only turned out having Hashis, adrenal problems, but also Pituitary problems. And the last strow my lyme D gave reactive in the lab. What can I do? Are the L.D having my low T4, or high antibodies? Labs Collected: 05/03/2016 09:34 = *THYROGLOBULIN

I am an embarrassed GP who has never heard of Hughes syndrome.
Hi My mother is in ICU post PE, Her Cardiolipin IgM is very high. She has had 3 miscarriages, severe migraines with aura and sister who also had a PE. I am a GP and insisted on a DDimer on admission, which after a circulatory collapse in High Care lead to prompt intervention, thank God. Her work up

Muscle wasting hands and feet, please help!
Dear fellow lupies(alike), Like you know I have since 2 years a diagnosis of UCTD (undifferentiated connective tissue disease). My rheumatologist prescribed Plaquenil 200mg per day. Some of my symptoms are reduced, but for over a year I have increasingly suffered from muscle weakness, muscle atrophy

High anticardiolipin AB igm then negative
Hi. I'm grateful to be able to ask a question here and hope I can get some understanding. I had a positive anticardiolipin IGM test and then 6 months later it was negative. Not sure what that really means. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I've now been told ok to stop Fragmin at 12 weeks pregnant due to second test being negative.... Nervous
Brief background: I have one 5 year old boy and one 2 year old boy-no problems getting pregnant with them. Then had 1 miscarriage at 10 weeks (stopped developing by 6 though) and 2 chemical pregnancies, both which ended by 5 weeks. Tested high positive (64) for IgM cardiolipin antibodies. Got pregnant

IGM Cardiolipin Positive, low vitamin D and fluctuating calcium levels (low normal PTH)
Hi folks, I have just been found to be positive for IGM Cardiolipin, but not for the other cardiolipin antibody, and I'm due to be re-tested in few weeks' time. I have also been identified as being vitamin D deficient. My last blood test showed by calcium levels to be within range, so I am now due

Waiting for biopsy results...so many questions
I'm so glad to find this board...everything I read on the internet about PBC takes my breath away. Here's my story: I am immune deficient - I have CVID, Common Variable Immune Deficiency. I do immune replacement therapy every week via subcutaneous infusion. My lft's have been abnormal for months and

Lyme disease
Wow this has been quite the experience. So I just found out from an early blood test in July 2015 that i had several reactive bands from a Lyme IgM and Igg western blot, but never tested definitively positive for Lyme according to the U.S. standards. I am now taking doxycycline for 3 days (400mg/day)

Virus and Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia (FM) is characterized by chronic widespread pain lasting for a minimum of three months, and pain at mechanical pressure in at least 11 of the 18 tender points. The cause of fibromyalgia is unknown. Several hypotheses have been developed including "central sensitization". This theory proposes

Results- not what I hoped for
My results came in and the tests included Beta IgG, IgM, and IgA, Phos/Serine, and Cardiolipin. Each result shows only < a number, with that number being whatever the standard is for negative. I wasn't given any actual numbers. This frustrates me because my sister was tested for PCOS after having all

Help with my labs
Hi everyone, I've had 3 tests now come up positive for Anticardiolipin IGM and Phosphatidylserine AB IGM. I've had so many other tests looking for lupus and other Autoimmune Diseases but the only things coming back positive are these two plus a slight positive ANA (1:40). I've had no clotting incidence

Argh.
So, I have taken my health in my own hands and been reading my way through scholarly articles. I recently went to theranos and got direct to consumer blood testing. Sigh. My too high iron/sat/binding is now too low. It went from the last results of 156 iron, 42% sat, binding around 400 to 40 iron
