Night time asthma
does anyone have a problem with asthma that comes on only during the evening? No wheezing just hard to take a deep breath. Is this common?

Covid test with asthma
Hello. I am looking for some advice. I have cough based asthma. I have had a sore throat this week that has developed into a cough. I am sure it’s asthma (it’s what normally happens) just wanted to see what the advice is for what you do with xlugh based asthma? Do you covid test or bypass and speak

Need some advice on my asthma management
Hi all, so I am having a bit of a rough time at the moment but with having both asthma and anxiety it’s a never ending cycle. So the doctor as advised me to loose weight as I am about 48 pounds overweight and he said that will help my asthma and feeling short of breath but not sure if it will or not?

Breathless
Before I became chronically unwell I had
brittle
asthma
. Despite being on three different inhalers Bricanyl, Pulmicourt and Serevent, I needed regular nebulisers and had several admissions to hospital each year. After six months of being on Hydroxychloroquine the asthma just stopped??

Asthma worsening
I have had asthma about 15 months and after clenil I was prescribed seratide 125 /25 combination preventer . This has worked quite well until last the 4 months when I have had 5 moderate attacks, the last 2 within 4 weeks where I have used 12 and then 15 blue puffs to stabilise. Each time I feel under

Hopefully help with thickening.
I have really got to share this, I had an emergency stoma fitted in February this year and I have had lots of trouble with the thickness because my stoma is so high and I have just found a couple of weeks ago when I was in hospital I was not happy with the food so I got a curry out of M&S and it thickened

Management of moderate to severe incontinence – no AUS 800 possible but an ileal conduit diversion did the trick
A recent, comprehensive post at the Fight Prostate Cancer (FPC) hub of HU about the Artificial Urinary Sphincter prompted me to update my husband journey. That post made me think a description of my husband’s incontinence experience and his long journey to a solution might be similarly helpful to some

Hartmann’s reversal?
Has anyone had a Hartmann’s reversal at all and how did they find it? I would like my stoma reversed in around ten months, all being well. Thank you Denise

How are your lungs after an asthma flare triggered by virus?
I'm just curious really, since this is not the first time I have experienced it and so it's not a shock to me (and I have an appointment with the asthma nurse booked) I wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience? I have just had a chest infection which worsened my asthma. 2 weeks off work

Reversal
Hi Dogbot here I am on the liver transplant list but also the doctors are talking about a reversal for my stoma bag , now I think I will ask them to wait for my reversal because I have heard that it’s not an easy recovery and I don’t want to put off my Trasplant. Is there anyone that has had a reasonable

Worsening asthma, all very new to me
Hello, I am quite new to asthma, I got given a blue inhaler last year after having shortness of breath and then got prescribed a brown inhaler to take 2 puffs a day and it seemed to be managed. A few weeks ago my symptoms worsened, to ones I’d not experienced before- wheezing, cough, really tight chest

Asthma and sleep 🛌
Worryingly, lots of people with asthma say they have difficulty sleeping due to their asthma symptoms. If your asthma is waking you up at night, it could be a sign that an asthma attack is on its way and you should contact your GP or asthma nurse about an urgent appointment. Find out more about asthma

Severe Asthma and Severe Allergies - the joys!
Does anyone here suffer with severe allergies that exacerbate their asthma? The reason I’m asking is because I’ve had a good run on Xolair (started early this year) but as my usual allergy season rears it’s ugly head, so have my symptoms which has come as a bit of a surprise. Kind of gutting since
