Side effects of Perjeta?
I'm trying to find a source that separates the side effects of Perjeta from those of Taxol. I am 75 years old and was moderately active before the double whammy of chemo and COVID isolation. A year ago, I completed a 12-week regimen of Taxol, Herceptin, and Perjeta, which stopped my cancer. Since then

Experience with Lynparza?
First off, thanks to all the amazing women in this community. I have learned so much about the disease and the amazing stories of courage and perseverance. Very inspiring. This is my first post, I apologize in advance if I ramble. It is my 84 year old father dealing with MBC and I am along for the ride

Oral SERD trial - 1st result
When Ibrance and Fulvestrant stopped working -- 2 new mets, and old one avid -- I went into a clinical trial for an oral SERD (same mechanism as Fulvestrant, blocking estrogen receptors). The one I am on is put out by Zeno Pharmaceuticals; trial is called n-c5-0001. I take a daily capsule on empty stomach

Hi Everyone, Its been a while since I lasted posted. I need everyone’s advice and knowledge. I have been on 125 Ibrance, Faslodex injections monthly, and Zometa infusions monthly since October of last year. Scans have showed the meds are working and tumors in my spine have calcified over. However, I

Angiogram at last!
Since being diagnosed (over the phone!) with suspected angina last November I've been waiting for an angiogram appointment, that day is nearly here! I go in on Monday and am feeling more than a little anxious! I know a lot of people here have had at least 1 and I shouldn't worry so much but my stomach

Help convincing surgeon
When I was officially diagnosed in sept 2019 with breast cancer ER negative HER2 positive and positive nodes. I had 4 months neojuvent chemo then due to lockdown had left breast and lymph nodes removed. This followed by a further 10 months of chemo and 20 sessions of radiotherapy. I know they removed

Then what?
Hi all, As you may remember, I had SBRT to my liver for two lesions last month. After the 2 week holding period, I started Verzenio. Due to extreme side effects, I took a 3 day break and went down from 200mg 2x per day to one 200mg tablet every 18 hours. I continue to have upper right quadrant pain

Lymphodoema in torso
Appear to have lymphodoema in my torso following diep flap & mastectomy surgery three years ago (as well as mildly in my arm). To have it in your torso (above bikini line) seems very unusual, does anyone else have this?

After transfer
Hiya I’m totally worrying about what to do after transfer. Some say to have bed rest, others say to get on with every day life. The problem is we will be in Spain for the two weeks so we won’t be doing ‘normal’ life. My brain is going like over drive… will it be 🥵 too hot. Will I be too active, not

Were You diagnosed with Mets over age 70, after a gap of 10+ years since early breast cancer?
I'm interested in connecting with women who fit the above description. I have been looking at old studies that suggest some breast cancers (especially ER+, HER2-) tend to be very slow-growing. These studies are not discussing MBC as such, but rather early BC. I'm wondering about the various treatments

RISE IN TUMOR MARKERS
Hello, fellow MBC fighters! 💗💗 I’ve recently had a treatment change to Xeloda (capecitabine) after mild progression on Faslodex. My blood work yesterday showed a slightly elevated number in both markers after two cycles on Xeloda. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Just feeling disappointed
