Bed rest after embryo transfer?
Hi everyone, Wondering if I could get your thoughts on bed rest after embryo transfer. Next week, the day after the planned transfer, I've been asked to do a presentation at work. It has been in the calender for months. I don't think it will be too stressful but will involve me travelling to get to work

Upcoming FET
So I am having my 5th FET on Thursday (all being well with the thaw) it will be my 6th transfer in total and it is also the last of my embryos from my first round of ICSI from October 2019! It feels like it’s been ongoing a long time. Anyway I was just wanting any tips or tricks for keeping myself chilled

Does exemestane work.
Hi . Has anyone been on exemestane please? If so has it shrunk your breast tumors at all? I have been on it nearly 2 months and I don't know if it is worth not as they are not shrinking. Before letrozole stopped working the tumors shrank a lot but nothing is happening with exemestane. I am worried

Hello
Hi, It’s really nice to find this site! I was diagnosed 11/19 with MBC. ER/PR- & HeR2+. It was in my breast, liver and lungs. I started in a clinical trial that January 2020. It runs for two years. The first 6 months, I went every week for taxol and every three weeks they added herceptin, perjeta

Ibrance and Letrozole no longer working
Hello everyone. I recently had an MRI of my pelvis. It showed the cancer is now showing more tumors. I start radiation on Tuesday. I will then be put on Xeloda, when I am finished with radiation. I’m really freaking out when I read about all the side effects. Is there anyone who can enlighten me on

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

New Galleri test for recurrance
Is this test available in the US and is it approved by the FDA?. More importantly, does health insurance cover it? It's supposed to be able to detect cancer recurrence early on in your blood. I read that Britain is going to be using it. I'm 2 years out from diagnosis with TNBC stage 1 with lumpectomy

I need hope
I haven’t posted in awhile, I’m currently on taxotere due to liver mets. I have 2 treatments left and I need to find something to keep me here for my children. I have done falsodex and letozole along with lupron and xgeve. My onc says exemestane is next by in self but I’m thinking why if I have failed

CA125 rising but clear scan, low grade ovarian cancer.
Hello, my Mum was diagnosed with 3a low grade fallopian tube cancer last year. She had a total de bulking, no chemo but is taking letrozole. Her CT scans have come back clear but the ca125 has now risen from 35 to 210 in 3 months ? I have read (everything) that the ca125 is only a marker. Has anyone

Scan results on liver not great
I received the results of my CT today and it stated There is significant interval progression of bilobar hepatic metastases with increase in size as well as interval development of new lesions, many of the metastatic lesions now confluent and difficult to measure and compare. Index lesion in the left

Who else was shocked!!
I'm new here but thought I would add me current experience with MBC. I was diagnosed with BC back in 2014, had a mastectomy and only had to take Letrozole for 5 years. I thought it was a fluke and thought nothing more about it. Well, low and behold it is back!! I thought I had pulled a muscle from

Dry cough
I am wondering if anyone has had issues with a dry cough after treatment for metastatic breast cancer brain surgeries. I started taking letrozole in late February and then started Ibrance a month or so later. I stopped the Ibrance after three rounds and I am taking another drug, Gallium Maltolate, instead

Need wisdom ! iBrance / Faslodex now moving to Afinitor/Exemestane and Faslodex. Was doing so well on iBrance/Faslodex. Sigh.
Hello Ladies, I was diagnosed with MBC in Nov of 2020. It started with the cancer at the precise same location as my lumpectomy in 2019 when I was originally Stage 2 with lymph node infection. Went through the lumpectomy in 2019 (Feb), 4 months of Chemo, a full right lymph nodal dissection, 2 months

Does CBD oil interfere with iBrance and Faslodex like Grapefruit?
I was reading an interesting article attached here https://www.healthline.com/health/cancer/cbd-for-cancer It mentioned that taking CBD may interfere with medications especially those that have a "Grapefruit" warning such as the case with iBrance and Faslodex. I read that taking CBD and even rubbing
