Breast cancer metastasis to bone
Hi Jaynikan -
Welcome and I'm so sorry about your diagnosis...
I think you'll not only learn *alot* here but will also see that many women in a similar situation are doing quite well.
I started out similar to you...mets in one vertebra, several years after initial dx/treatment, and now I'm almost seven years with metastatic disease, with widespread bone mets but feeling quite well, with only fatigue/low blood counts from the meds to show for it!
I'm wishing you the best and also definitely *wishing you great luck!*,
Lynn
I also am sorry about your diagnosis but welcome to the group. Everyone here is very nice, supportive and has good advice. I had breast cancer eight years ago and was diagnosed with mets to my ischium in October of 2020. Had some radiation to that met and one on the sacrum discovered on PET scan in February. On Ibrance and Letrozole. I feel good on the meds, am stable for now. Only side effects are thinning hair and moderately low white blood counts. Take care of yourself, eat healthy, get some exercise and try to stay positive. Sending you hugs and prayers and best wishes.
Welcome here. You have found a great place for info and support. I have bone mets since 2011 and diagnosed in 2013. Now some in both lungs but doing ok. Most days I feel ok and some days just tired depending on activity. I would say one of the best things you can do is try to eat healthy. Makes sense doesn't it. Our bodies are having to work hard against this disease. I am on only Verzenio at the moment. Doing ok. Scans coming up in early September. I have my fingers crossed. Sending you best wishes.
Cheers, June S.
Wishing you the best of luck!
Sending you positive thoughts, good wishes, and prayers.
A positive attitude is the way to keep moving forwards! I am sorry for your diagnosis but it sounds like you are developing a great approach to dealing with your diagnosis. Best of luck for your scan!
