UTIs monthly
I’m taking Ibrance and anastrozole anyone having UTIs. I get them once a month. I’m exhausted from this. My gp is going to put me on an antibiotic low dose daily, hopefully that helps. I drink a lot of water and juice but still get them. I’m 71 years old and never had this experience before. To be honest

Xeloda Vs Generic brand side effect differences
Hello fellow thrivers and fighters, My current line of treatment is Capecitabine, I've been on it for about three months and after a shaky start I'm getting used to it. My onc already reduced the dosage once due to painful hand and foot syndrome, but it's still a real issue for me. However this cycle

implant removal
I am having my reconstructive breast implants removed tomorrow because one has broken through the skin on my radiated side. (Reconstruction was in 2015) I’m on Piqray and Fluvestrant. The surgeon is not familiar with it, just knows that Diabetes (caused by the Piqray) makes healing a challenge

Tumor Markers
Hello everyone! First post here but have been reading a lot and found it very helpful. Mets diagnosed back in March of this year. CA 15-3 was tested in my initial work up for restage. My markers have not been tested again. Was wondering what is being followed by other oncologists and how often they

Bone Biopsy Concern
Hello, I have lobular carcinoma metastatic breast cancer stage 4. My tumor markers have been on the rise for the last several months. I have had several scans including a bone scan and so far everything has been negative. My oncologist wants to do a bone biopsy. I am scared to death to do it.

I am curious. I am now going to be put on this since it spread to my liver and her treatment of tamoxifen and afinitor did not work bc my scan last week showed it has continued to spread in my liver. She mentioned I would be taking 8 pills per day broken down into four pills twice per day. And that

Ibrance and faslodex no longer working
I’ve been on Ibrance and faslodex for 15 mo. Everything was going great and I had few side effects, no back pain. Then I got Covid. Back pain started creeping up on me. My last PET scan showed Mets spreading and growing larger. One in my liver. Please tell me what meds I can try next. I’m 72 and

What next after Ibrance? - Verzenio, Kisquali, Xeloda & more
Dear friends, After 1.5 years on Ibrance/Fulvestrant and a very short time in NED status (great while it lasted...) my cancer reappeared this spring. I've just had an axillary lymph node dissection, removing all the known cancerous spots, and now the question is what will be my meds going forward.
