implant removal

I am having my reconstructive breast implants removed tomorrow because one has broken through the skin on my radiated side. (Reconstruction was in 2015)

I’m on Piqray and Fluvestrant. The surgeon is not familiar with it, just knows that Diabetes (caused by the Piqray) makes healing a challenge.

Anyone out there have surgery while on Piqray?

I’ve had a few skin grafts to cover a failed right mastectomy in the last 2 months but wasn’t asked to go off Piqray. Best to you !

Last December I started have an open wound on the scar where I had mastectomy ten years ago. My oncologist said it’s from cancer and have nothing to do except the treatment is working. It did heal a couple months later after the new effective treatment. Hope it also works on yours.
