zandopa's choices?
what are the options to replace sinemet with micuna pruriens without the sugar existing in Zandopa? I discovered zandopa before DBS and I almoSt cancelled my DBS surgery (wish I had done it, because if something goes wrong surgeons have no clue about how to fix it; I got severe gait disturbances), because

Can't cope with this anymore
I have been suffering from anxiety for 6 months now and It just seems to be getting worse. I am having really bad tent ion headaches this week and am convinced I have a brain tumour. Everytime I think about it I feel as if I'm going to pass out on the spot.. just want to be normal again.

"Say No to Shingles Vaccine: Boost immunity naturally".
Yesterday, we had discussion of whether or not to take the shingles vaccine. For our hosts in the UK, just what is the shingels vaccine? I supplied some links that provided information and this is just one that popped up today. Hope it helps. www.Newsmax Health <newsmax@reply.newsmax.com - scroll

Aminophylline or Theophylline? Anyone know about half-lifes and / or how long one has to be off the drug before effective anti-biotic works?
Consultant(s) suggested Aminophylline on a three month trial. They wrote to GP who has prescribed Theophylline. I understand that they are very similar in effect but am concerned about how long they stay active in body. Why? I have frequent chest infections (minimum 6 a year) so likelihood is that I

Is the DBS operation painful?
I am scheduled for the DBS operation in Dallas on 4/24/2013. My neurosurgeon says I will be awake but will have a local anesthetic. Can anyone who has undergone the procedure let me know how traumatic it might be. I am 67 years old and a bit nervous about the prospect of the drilling into my skull. Thanks

DBS - does it wind back the movement clock??
On 17th April I'm having DBS. My neurosurgen, says an average result is to straight line my 'on periods' but he expects a significant result which by his definition is winding the movement clock back to when I first started taking levadopa. For me that was 10 years ago. For those of you who have had

Car accident and DBS
I met with my Parkinson's Movement Specialist Wednesday. I received a DBS "makeover" as Dr. Jill reprogrammed me. She tried different settings and found what works for me. Since the car accident in January, I have been sluggish, taking naps in mid morning and after 3pm daily. The reprogramming has helped
