catch up after private rheumatologist appointment
I am not keen because I have had a
brain
haemorrhage
and have hydrocephalus and any trauma to my head sets me back neurologically which I do not need at the moment. So, I went back to Prof. Dasgupta yesterday and had a temporal artery ultra sound scan, which shows NO giant cell arteritis!

Stiff Achy Neck & Shoulder Muscles
Hi Everyone! I was just wondering does any one have chronic stiff, achy neck and shoulder muscles? My neck and shoulder muscles are stiff 24/7. When I wake up in the mornings is the worst. As the day progresses it gets better but it doesn't completely go away. Somedays I just can't take the pain

new beginnings
Hello everyone. I have been mostly sharing doubts and worries here. So I have decided, for a change, to share some positive news. Im still surprised the positive is also happening to me... I have been offered a new role in my company. This is great because last month my manager said there will not

Fear of anerysums and tumors
I found out a couple days ago that a friend of mine died of a brain aneurysm, the a couple days later I start feeling pain in the back of my head, like sharp burning pains that only last a few seconds but come on through out the day. It scares me. Nobody has ever had a anerysum in my family, I don't

Another update from myself, really fed up now,no job as such but am on a training course through job centre plus. It's been too long now.
Morning all,it's been a long time,I had three interviews earlier this week, one asked me to come back after my appeal, another one never got back, the last one didn't have enough work.I'm still registered with the nursing agencies, doing online training with one.I received my DBS check, waiting on references. The

New to AF, worried about anticoagulants
Am I really walking a line, that has a possibility of a stroke without medication, or a
brain
haemorrhage
with medication? I am taking the Bisoprolol, and no problems so far, but I haven't dared to take the anticoagulant yet. If I did take it, would I have to take it every day?
