New here 😍
Hi all. I am new here and thought I would see if there was someone out there who has similar history to me. In August 2017 I was diagnosed with Endometrial cancer. I had a full hysterectomy in September 17 and the final result was; Stage 1a Grade 3. I was also told that that had removed and tested '

Worried I have bowel cancer
I,m new. For the past couple of months I,ve felt very tired and have discomfort down my left side resulting in me wanting to go to the toilet, sometimes it’s like a paste and sometimes very lose. I have a slight pain but it’s not a gripey pain, no blood but needing to go sometimes 5 times day and night

New Gastroenterologist prescribed Trulance (Plecanatide) 3mg tablets for IBS-C. Is anyone on this? Is it helping? Also wants Sphincter? Test
Just saw a new Gastroenterologist yesterday. He seemed very nice, and not as dismissive as the first two I saw. He wants me off weekly Sunday Senna-lax routine. Thinks this (Trulance) might work better than Linzess that prior Gastros put me on. Said over time, depending if this works, also wants me off

Will surgery have long term effects?
I have had it confirmed I have bowel cancer and am waiting for surgery to remove my colon. This will leave me with an ileostomy- stoma and bag - permanently. Will this effect the absorption of thyroxine? Any other effects I should be aware of?

Slow bowel transit and irrigation
Hi I'm 69 female and have chronic slow bowel transit. I take on advice up to 6 Movicol a day and do colonic irrigation but all I get is diarrhoea. The consultant has never discussed foods for this, so can anyone advise me what foods help and what to avoid. Fibre makes it worse. I am so frustrated as

Waiting game
Hi apologies for my name it merely reflects the way I feel about the time I have waited for cancer treatment still no date after being diagnosed with lower rectal cancer in early June this year. I feel like a statistic on a conveyer belt that just has to behave and wait their turn.

Memory issues from using Pravacol
I sure hope that there are people on this site that can give me some help or at least hope. I quit Pravacol 2 months ago after taking it for 6 months... Memory issues!!! I was told that by now things would be returning to my normal but they haven't. I have read that possibly COQ 10 may help --- there

I had my lung function test yesterday. No significant change My condition has not got any worse. Also tested my haemoglobin and it's normal. Would celebrate but all that deep breathing, breath holding and puffing out leaves me wiped out. However I don't care if I'm wrecked for a day or three. I'm
