Waiting game

Hi apologies for my name it merely reflects the way I feel about the time I have waited for cancer treatment still no date after being diagnosed with lower rectal cancer in early June this year. I feel like a statistic on a conveyer belt that just has to behave and wait their turn.

Yes - and I'm definitely on the conveyor with no way of getting answers any quicker!

But I've now had my surgery, am sat up in a chair and waiting waiting waiting to hear whet will happen next.

Stay tough!

I don’t have personal experience with this but that does not seem right!!! Have you tried to chase it up and contact the consultant, their secretary etc?

Hi, I was diagnosed with colon cancer last November. I am certain they are supposed to have started treatment within 4-5 weeks. You must chase it up urgently. I needed surgery and chemo. Please let us know what happens.
