Will I ever feel better?
Good evening everyone, please can anyone help. After feeling unwell end of September I had bloods done my TSH was 6.7 and T4 level was 17.9 pmol( Normal range 12.0 to 22.0). After suffering with terrible symptoms for 2 months including swelling of the neck my GP finally prescribed thyroxine only 25mcg

Finally!
Back in July I had a response to a FOI, which I challenged. I sent out numerous emails to different NHS governing bodies. I met a brick wall. Today an email turned up out of the blue from my Health Board. It only took them five months. The complaint was that the blood testing for thyroid did not

Ups & downs again, but back on the up.
Hi everyone, been on that rollercoaster again. Son unfortunately vomited through his tracheotomy last Tuesday whilst his PEG feed was running. He seemed ok but come Thursday all his stats were alarmingly high requiring hospital admission. Diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia & started on strong IV antibiotics

Steroid-based inhaler warning
**Moderator note to anyone reading: if you have similar concerns please speak to a medical professional - don't stop your steroid inhaler or any other steroids if you're worried about adrenal insufficiency. It's dangerous for both adrenals and asthma.**

So pleased to have found this forum! I had a routine blood test followed by a call from the GP asking me questions about how i was feeling. I get tired easily but put all symptoms like that down to getting older and haven't really any other symptoms. I had glandular fever age 18 and since then have

Armour thyroid
I have been on armour for several years and my endo is aware. 2 months ago I had a blood test which showed my levels were fairly low, TSH was 8 ish and t3 and t4 were low. So I increased my dose slightly whilst waiting for a further endo appointment. Within a couple of weeks I was hyper, no blood test

Hi! I've been trying for a while to become pregnant with IVF and had the trigger shot (Ovitrelle) 16 days ago. I did a blood test on 10dpo and showed 369 u. Could that be the trigger?

Devastation all over again
Had my 6th frozen embryo transfer on 13th December with a 6BB euploid embryo, for the first time ever I caved and tested today with a clear blue non digital test (due a pregnancy blood test tomorrow so just one day early). Not even a glimmer of a positive. I am devastated all over again. I’m always being

Could chronic urticaria be related to underactive thyroid?
I've had under active thyroid for 5/6 years and have been on a dose of 50mcg of Levothyroxine for all of this time. This year I developed chronic urticaria and then a different kind of dermatitis/eczema and I want to rip my skin off it's so itchy. This week I did an Advanced Thyroid Function Blood Test
