Pain at it's highest level (2)
Thanks so much to everyone who responded to my post 6 days ago, just having someone to hear me was a blessing on it's own. I managed to get to hospital 4 days ago and saw a doctor who was shocked that the inflammation level was very high in the blood tests they just done. 164.2, where as normal level

Some advice before a battle with GP!
Hi all, hoping someone on here can advise me on the best approach to take to get my GP to take action! Every blood test bar two that I have had over the last 5 years has shown high TSH, generally between 6 and 10, and always over the high reference range. However, despite several GP visits they refuse

Interesting study on combination of statins and metformin in high-risk patient outcomes

Medication and blood tests
I have battled to get my bloods tested and have managed to get a blood test tomorrow but it is at 11.40am. I have always had them before 8am following the advise given on here. What is the best thing I can do with taking my medication? I took them today (Sunday) at 6am so should I take them as normal

low levels of T4 & T3 on 3 grains of NDT
Dear all, Again I need some help with my blood tests interpretation and further steps. I’m currently on 3 grains of thyroid-s and my results are as shown on the table below. Both FT3 & FT4 levels are not satisfactory. Could this be because of the low levels of ferritin, D3 and B12? Or do I need to

Symptomatic but within range
Hoping someone more experienced can help advise on next steps... I've been feeling very tired since Nov/Dec, with brain fog, dizziness and palpitations for the last month. All the older members of my family are diagnosed hypothyroid. I had a basic blood test (annoyingly I didn't realise the guidance

More worry
😟 Report from recent endoscopy appeared to be all good, however there was a "possible" Barretts Tongue seen and so biopsy has been taken to rule Barretts out. All blood tests and tumour markers came back as normal, but I cannot help but worry about if it is Barretts and whether again it could be

blood test accuracy
Hi All, I order blood tests through Medichecks and have a blood draw at the hospital but also intermittently get blood tests through the NHS. According to the NHS my vitamin levels have gone down considerably but according to Medichecks they’re fine! Which one should I trust?! Thanks 😊
