Blood test

So tomorrow I'm having the blood test requested by my thyroid specialist...It has to be done 1 wk b4 I see my specialist..However...I'm curious why on here everyone states that our bloods should be done at around 8am...Mine tomorrow is at 4pm ???

Can someone please explain the 8am time frame to me.

Because none of us is ever told!

The assumption is that it makes no difference. Which is patently untrue.

Or that everything is taken into account. Which is also untrue.

I think we can appreciate that they cannot do everyone's blood test at precisely 08:00!
