SCT update
I’m now on day +284 & so far seem to be progressing well. I know things may change, but hopefully I’ll continue to progress. I’m managing to walk most days, weather permitting, although I do get tired in the evening. My tablets are now being decreased & my hair is growing back grey & curly - not happy

why does T3 make me feel worse?
This is what I just googled in desperation after trialing 2.5mcg of T3 again after many months of T4 only due to T3 failed attempts. It’s not in my head, it’s a very specific feeling a few hours after taking it and that feeling is severely hypothyroid. I can hardly think or operate my brain. Google

Over the past year I have had frequent respiratory infections and when not ill, I am always exhausted. I often need to stay in bed on my days off recovering. Alongside the exhaustion and frequent infections I have dealt with nausea and gastric problems which I always thought were due to IBS. I faint

Advice on raising NDT
Following on from my post on 26/02/24, my symptoms got worse (increased number of anxiety attacks and unable to cope with pain in head/neck and upper back) and the GP didn't have any ideas, so I saw a thyroid specialist recommended by thyroid UK in April. The doctor had my blood tests done and these

Hi all,
I posted this query a few days ago and it was kindly analysed for me by greygoose (comments further down). However, I didn't understand what he/she was telling me - so I wonder if anyone could explain for me? Do the results indicate hypothyroidism? Do I need meds or can I tweak via

Using up my B1 Thiamine.
I never got the hang of knowing when I used up my B12 as some experience. Likely as I was also B1 deficient. The only way to determine if you are B1 deficient is to do a trial. The blood test is useless. Functional Deficiency of a Vitamin may be nothing more than a work around for not understanding

Iron results - what would you do?
In the seemingly endless quest to feel properly well I had a full iron panel done. The last one I had done was 2 years ago, 6 months after an iron transfusion. I've got a bit of a mixed bag here so I'd be grateful for some thoughts. It's getting worse, generally, I'm just not sure if now is the right

Information about frequency of injection
Hi I posted about a sudden deterioration in my health after 4 years of successful self-injection eod, daily or twice a week (depending on how I was doing). My last post questioned whether it was due to a bad batch of B12 depot - unfortunately, using newly ordered B12 doesn't seem to be making an improvement

A recent consultation with a CLL specialist, and confirmation of genetic markers
My wife had an appointment with CLL specialist Dr. C. Chen yesterday. We also performed other blood tests. I had a pleasant consultation with Dr. Chen. I was perplexed because of the TP53 mutation, whether it was discovered or not. I posted an earlier post that she has a TP53 mutation. I am sorry for

inflammation on hydroxychloroquine and 5mg of prednisolone
hello, I saw my rheumatologist today after complaining about my painful hands and wrists. The doctor mentioned that I don’t show any signs of inflammation on my hands or anywhere else. The reason I am confused is because I have been on hydroxychloroquine and prednisolone since September of last year

FET next week but Follicles might have stopped that? Advice needed
so I’m having some issues. I’m a surrogate with 1 pregnancy under my belt from a frozen embryo transfer. The first time I used Progynova 2mg 3x a day. Then after the baseline scan, it was prog & cyclogest until the transfer day. Today I’m starting the process again and I have the same medication cycle
