I have an amazing ability to pick relevant podcasts while driving. Just had my blood work done in preparation of starting Pluvicto and not being able to choose wisely while driving I picked this podcast which i have heard before and have even advocated on this forum before. Dr Chetty is so brilliant

vitamin deficiencies
I had most of my sigmoid removed because of diverticulitis five years ago. My question is my surgeon said that it should not affect my vitamin or mineral intake because the sigmoid doesn’t involve that. Got on finding that it most certainly does I get a B12 injection because I’m a vegetarian so that

Dry scalp
I have recently noticed increasingly dry scalp. Can anyone recommend any shampoo/ conditioner to help? No expense (at this scale) spared. I have very fine hair, and dont want this to have further effects. I've looked at all the commercially available ones, dont have any way to judge which work and are

Any bad experiences with AUS’s, especially re sex?
I’ve suffered from heavy urinary incontinence for over a decade since my prostatectomy in 2011. After hearing about the high success rate and positive impact of artificial urinary sphincters (AUS’s), I’m about ready to request my experienced prostate surgeon at Kaiser to install one for me – if I can

Scared and Frustrated
The beginning of February i thought i had the beginnings of maybe a stomach bug. Bloating, gas, sudden urge and need to use the bathroom.... only nothing would come, just mucus and very very small amounts if unformed fluff. This continued till I noticed i hadn't had a real movement for nearly two weeks

I am the wife of a husband who has advanced prostate cancer. He has just finished 6 rounds of Taxotere chemotherapy. He has taken Orgovyx and Nubeqa since his diagnosis. I am exploring holistic adjunctive therapy for him.

The continuing saga of the purple toe
Surprise, surprise, after having a MRI scan of my legs, an echocardiogram, an ECG and a twenty four hour heart monitor, no trace of blockages except what the consultant called a 'pinch' in a leg artery, suspected of causing a blood clot and the purple toe. But, on my last appointment with the consultant

Im 50 M UK, I had been experiencing bloating in late 2022. In Dec 2022 Dr prescribed Macro-Bid for a bladder infection. GCA and hair loss
Have been on pred now since end of July 2023 - originally 60mg now tapered to 20mg. (stay on 20mg for 2 weeks). Feel fine on that dose. Will taper to 18 mg in a week Mon. and stay on it for 2 weeks, etc. then down by l0% every 2 weeks if all holds. I am losing my hair. Will taking folic acid help?
