Lost control on urine
I was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2018..Age 57 and good exercise was keeping me well except tremors in whole body..I was taking much lesser dose of C/L - 0.75 mg a day with pamipraxol 3.5 mg a day against prescription of 3.75 mg of C/L a day and 1 mg of rasagiline. Now I have lost control on urine.

Stricture 'pops' when Catheterising.
I do a two week catheterise for a stricture I have post TURP (2019). Last time I did it there was some resistance to the Catheter going in and when I eased it past there was a pop sensation as it broke through. No blood though (not like when I had a bladder inspection when the scope broke the stricture

Getting diagnosed
Hi, I have suffered with pain in my abdomen, pelvic and back area for the past few years. Over the past couple of weeks it has been the worst I’ve ever had it. I went to the doctors and they said it was bladder infection. I’ve had two coarses of antibiotics and that hasn’t done a thing. On Tuesday

Parkin in PCa, A PCa living tumor treatment library, Sabizabulin (VERU-111) moves into Phase 3 trials, Heat to turn on CAR-T
Greetings FPC members, Been a while since posting but have been busy with a number of summer projects. The first piece of news is about Parkin, a tumor suppressor protein, that when reintroduced to PCa resulted in smaller tumors and decreased metastasis-see below: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases

Lupus related nodular prurigo
Does anyone with Lupus suffer from nodular prurigo? I’m climbing the walls with the pain and itching. Haven’t been able to see my consultant for over 2 years now. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. All the best to fellow Lupus sufferers.

Bladder pain?
I may have mentioned this before on here but honestly I just want to hear people’s stories and not feel alone in this. I currently get really bad bladder pain (what I assume is bladder pain). I get pain when my bladder is full and really bad pain as I emptying and after it is empty. It’s pain like I’

Button Plasma TURP vs Wire Loop TURP
Am considering having the button TURP. Anyone had either TURP can you share how long was burning, bleeding, clots, any other complications? When do they remove catheter. What is the healing time in both. I have catheter since Jan 2021 and on ADT with no radiation.

Hi all. Does anyone know if a PVI ablation procedure treats atrial fibrillation only.? I see there is a procedure using catheterisation to treat ectopics too. I’m wondering wether if my 3 PVI ablation procedures Iv had in the past would in any way protect me from any ectopics progressing into afib

Mirabegron, huge improvement in bladder issues for me!
I can happily say it's changed my life! Prior to taking it I was having accidents in bed once or twice a month. I was often suffering urgency, wearing a small pad as a safety net just in case. I was constantly worried about needing the toilet urgently. I was catheterising before bed, up to a couple of

Post eSRT radiation cystitis
I completed 38 sessions of eSRT 30 months ago, without obvious ill effects. But a couple of weeks back my urine was blood red on a single occasion, following which I had a dye CT scan of my kidneys and the plumbing through to the bladder, to look for leaks - to my relief, nothing was found, so the decision

Drips, Drops & Diapers post TURP with metastasised PCa and Radiation to begin in a month
Since my TURP about 7 weeks ago, I have had daily incontinence, no urgency issues, just "happens". I have of course resorted to pads, but going through several a day. I expect it will get worse with Radiation. It is a mix of stress incontinence, sneeze, caught, laugh, but other times just leaks with

Feeling defeated
I was gonna look up something about prostate cancer with brain metastases and as I typed out my Google search, “prognosis” auto populated. Foolishly, I abandoned my original search and clicked on it. Dr. Google has failed me a host of times and maybe, just maybe, what I saw was erroneous … I can only
