Increased pain after pudendal nerve block.
As a last resort I had a pudendal nerve block in my left buttock 17 days ago. The pain in the injection site is almost unbearable. I hoped this would turn my life around but it has just done the opposite. I am desperate for some pain relief tried all the neuropathic pain tablets but they didn’t

Has anyone used Dr. Gary Onik (Dr. Hope)? Want opinions.
Hi everyone... as most of you know...I still look(and mostly feel) pretty great. BUT my PSA is just under 1000 and my last scans showed cancer in 97 % of my bones. So the picture is not pretty. (kinda reminds me of "The Picture of Dorian Gray". Everyone keeps telling how good I look and how I don't

Cumulative steroid dose
I’ve been wandering around the information posts and found this in a post quoting Prof Dasgupta. I am interested in how you calculate the accumulated dose but have been unable to locate the spreadsheet referred to. I was also interested in how many people do actually keep an eye on the accumulated dose

Consuming More H2O Can Improve Incontinence
I just read an article on 'ProstateCancer. net' that drinking more water can reduce incontinence problems. "Because of his urinary incontinence, R--- avoided drinking water. This can irritate the lining of the bladder walls and actually worsen urinary leakage in all humans, whether or not they have

Is this an acceptable radiation treatment?
Thinking about a recent RO consult at Kaiser. Was offered 28 sessions hypofractionation ( with 18 mo ADT for high risk). Would be VMAT-type radiation, with sessions just 2-3 minutes each...that seems good. I asked about fiducial markers, and was told that none are used , just tattoos for body alignment

Penile Injection Therapy
I notice none of these medications are listed in Goodrx. Does anyone know how much they cost? What some of the plusses and minuses are in their use? "The three main types of medications used in penile injection therapy include: papaverine phentolamine prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) or alprostadil (Caverject

Hello lovely ladies Hope you all well. My mum was treated for a recurrence of endometrial cancer in her lymph nodes. Treatment finished in early Aug and showed that the lymph nodes shrunk to a normal size. I assume this means the cancer cells have been destroyed 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Mums been on a trial

TRUP vs. alternatives
New info from meeting with RO Yesterday he says because my prostate is enlarged ( 158 grams estimate from MRI, about 5 x normal) he thinks that having a TURP prior to radiation might be a good idea. His thinking is; radiation may swell my prostate and if my urethra were to close off flow during the

CT scan shows multiple liver metastases.
Hello ladies. I hope everyone is as well as can be. I had a CT scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis yesterday afternoon. I had not expected the results until Monday or Tuesday, but the report posted yesterday evening and shows multiple tumors on liver. I’m not surprised. I meet with the new oncologist
