Finished antibiotics but still burning pain

I have just finished 2 lots of antibiotics for a urine infection but still have this awful soreness and burning pain down below, could this be thrush it is constant.

It sounds like the uti is back and I recommend you go back to your GPs.

This happened to me a couple of years ago when a uti went on for 7 months. I was at the doctors virtually every week! Eventually they referred me to a urologist and it was discovered that my urethra was virtually closed so I had to have a procedure to stretch it open. Thankfully there's been no reoccurence since.

Thank you for your reply I saw a doctor today I am on my 3 rd lot of antibiotics I did a urine sample and I still have the infection it is a bit worrying, did the antibiotics work for you.

The last GP I saw gave me a 2 week course of antibiotics and that cleared it up.

how long it take for antibiotics to work clear symptoms i’ve been on nitro something for 5 days now stil have symptoms no burning

That is good the gp gave me 10 stronger tablets really hope they work was you on a lot of antibiotics before.

Yes I was. Each time I went back to my GP it was a different antibiotic!

A friend of mine has this. It was discovered her womb was enlarged and pressing against bladder and giving the symptoms of UTI bit there was no I faction. Back to your doc I think, as Shoeysmum says.

On my 4th antibiotics for urine infection but had a negative urine test last week then infection came back again it is annoying still feel I need to go to the toilet a lot but the pain has gone.
