Hello everyone...My husband was diagnosed with liver tumours back in May and was told that immunotherapy was the treatment to help him.He started treatment in August but didnt start to improve and ended up in hospital with a bad infection that our GP failed to treat before his treatment started..He went downhill from there but after two delays he went for his second treatment .Sadly his consultant rang us last week to say that the treatment isnt working and it was making him worse and gave us the devastating news that there was nothing else they can do and he has a short time left now..We had such high hopes for the treatment and now he is getting worse day by day and cant get out of bed anymore..Im devastated .at the thought of losing him and that the treatment we thought was going to shrink his tumours has actually made things worse.

Hi Rosalie, I don't have any advice or anything to say that can really help but I just wanted to say that you and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish there were words that could help but this group and forum is a great support and I hope that it can be of help during these times for you and your husband. Sending you a virtual hug.

Thank you..Yes I am in the UK and I have written your number down..Our local Hospice are involved with my Husbands care now as he is at home with me and thats where we both want him to be..everyone is being so kind but sadly no one can give us what we really want.
I’m so sorry Rosalie. Hospices are fantastic, lean on them and your community nurses as much as you need to. Have you got support from friends and family?
