Low heart rate - high dose bisoprolol
Good morning. I’m going to contact my cardiologist about this but I’m currently taking 10mg of bisoprolol daily following some complications (including high HR) after an ablation. I feel fine, if a bit tired, but my heart rate is floating around 50bpm which seems a bit low to me. Has anyone else had

Does this sound like POTS?
Hi 👋🏻 Wonder if anyone could help me? 6 months ago I had covid and since then I have been suffering with extreme anxiety feelings (like a physical sensation in my stomach) and fast heart rate. Had an SVT (210 bpm) for an hour in November and ended up in hospital and out on Bisoprolol 1.25mg. Since

Amiodarone as pill in pocket
I take Flecainide 150mg, Bisoprolol 1.25 and Xarelto 20mg every morning and this regime usually keeps me free from Afib episodes and able to lead an active life. However, about once a month my heartbeat becomes irregular and is often over 100, at these times my BP plummets My Cardiologist says when

Experiencing short runs of irregular beats, 3 months post ablation.
I've had no AF since my ablation in December, but every night I have short bursts (2 or 3 seconds) of fast, weak beats. They usually consist of 3 or 4 beats in a row, feel similar to AF, but don't persist. My cardiologist reckons they are ectopic salvos, and has prescribed 50mg Flecainide twice daily

Anyone had a good Post Ablation Recovery with "macro re-entry arrythmias"
I am told I now have this. All new growth in the last 2 years since my first AF ablation. Looking for reassurance I guess. I have a very good EP. It's now 23 days since my ablation and still feeling a bitctired and a bit breathless on exertion but in NSR . Plus still taking 5mg bisoprolol and Flecainide

My cardiologist took me down from 7. 5 mg Bisoprolol to 2. 5 mg because I am having longer episodes of AF (last one was 22 hours) and am blacking out when I convert to NSR. He said I was having a conversion pause each time.Ten days ago he decided to give me a pacemaker then after consultation with another

Bisoprolol
Hi everyone I’m 45 year old and I had diagnosed with arrhythmia in January after being very ill. My private doctor prescribed me Bisoprolol 2.5 mg and after a month that I was feeling good it started again with more symptoms. I have chest pain which I didn’t have it before. My consultant put me now

High HR readings
I first started having tachycardia when I caught C last January. I went several months before taking medication for it (first Bisoprolol that was changed to Nebivolol then I had Ivabradine added in). Even with that my resting heart rate is still normally in the 70s and 80s most of the time (during C

Bleeding gums , help.
Hello all, hope you are all doing good. I’ve had a lot of bleeding from my gums, not sure if it’s from colchicine, flecainide, bisoprolol or tablets to protect stomach. Does anyone suffer with this and any tips to stop bleeding or protect gums . Plus has anyone experienced weight loss with colchicine

Since starting Bisoprolol my pulse has dropped to between 40 - 50, used to be around 70. Feeling quite light headed at times.

Bisoprolol fumarate - Harmful?
I am being prescribed Bisoprolol pending further tests after an acute cardiac event. It is acknowledged that it is unlikely that I have a heart problem (I've already had an angiogram and that showed I have very healthy arteries). My question is when taking this drug merely as a precaution can there be

AF at weekend
I had a frightening episode of AF on Saturday. Phoned 111 and I ended up in hospital A&E for about 9 hours. NSR returned about 15 hours afterwards. First time this has happened in about 6 months. My heart rate is usually 60 due to my pacemaker keeping my heart from going too slow. It doesn’t help

Switched Beta blockers ...felt worse.
Been on Bisoprolol...not good so switched to nebivolol same dose 1.25. Only taken one tablet last Eve and couldn't sleep and today light headed anxious and jittery. When I tried a quick nap this afternoon I kept jerking awake. Back on bisoprolol and hoping I haven't messed up my system. Maybe better

Switched to nebivolol from bisoprolol.
I took 1.25 of nebivolol yesterday as not been good on bisoprolol. No sleep last night and jittery anxious today plus light headed. Hope I haven't messed my system up. Back on bisoprolol 1.25 now and thinking better the devil you know. Maybe it's not a good idea to change BBs although so many people

Why does fluid retention come with AF ..?
Hi After almost a year with severe AF ( my resting heart rate is now over 126 avge) the main symptoms are still tiredness, shortness of breath, stomach pains and asthma. What I don’t understand is why my weight goes up steadily, and all of it fluid . I shall be on a diuretic next week, along with dronedarone

Just filed the latest letter.
What larks! Somebody is making a fortune off me with sales of poly pockets! Anyway, the letter just repeated most a conversation I’d had with the electro cardiologist. While he didn’t print it, he did say to me that the drugs I’m taking won’t stop another Torsades de Points episode. He did print that
