The Beta Blocker itself may not but as they also are prescribed for symptoms of anxiety when you stop suddenly IMHO, yes.

Beta Blockers are also adrenaline and noradrenaline blockers which is why you have the symptoms you describe. Some people suffer withdrawal symptoms because of the big change in the hormonal balance. Who told you to stop and why and was any advice given about tapering down?

The Cardiologist said so . I had only been on it a week and only 1.25 mg but made me real tired and slow and headachy after 2 days with low bp. Also waking at 2 in the morning and not getting back to sleep . Walked the dog with difficulty . These ate the type of dymptoms i have had with evety drug tried on me over the last 2 years

Many have that difficulty. I couldn’t take any heart drugs as they made me really ill. Unfortunately withdrawal, even at low dose & only a week also has affects but they will wear off in a week or two. If they don’t, go back to your doctor.
