My cardiologist for the first time has deleted a couple of meds, Nicorandil 20mg twice a day and Isosorbide 120mg day. Plus swapped Metopolol 75mg twice a day to Bisoprolol 10mg daily. Just had my 5th stent, 7th angiogram. I found this one more difficult to cope with. Just because no matter what my

Medication questions
Evening All So I have a Dickie ticker and so far have had four episodes that have required mild shocking to reduce my bpm. The last one caused a clot to go into my brain and led to a mini stroke. Since that they have increased my flecanide and bisoprolol and also now put me on apixiban . My question

Bisoprolol v Nebivalol
Hi All, Many times on here I have seen people recommend nebivalol over bisoprolol and people say there are far less side effects etc. I have been putting up with bisoprolol for 6 months now and my cardiologist said if I wanted to change, he would be happy for me to switch to Nebivalol. Even though before

Bisoprolol or apixaban causing tummy pain??
I did post about bloating and got some good general answers thanks. However I did not have bloating until about a week after starting bisoprolol and apixaban, and assume it is one of these drugs I wonder if anyone had drug swapped because of tummy pains? GP practice very difficult to get hold of because

First degree AV block - can it be caused by bisoprolol?
Hi All, This morning I did a ārandomā Kardia (6L) ECG and it came back that I was in sinus Rythm with wide QRS. It was a one off and five mins later I did another one (and many others since) and all in normal SR. I sent it off for a clinician review as Iāve been worried about it all day and theyāve come

Donedarone and ectopics
I was taken off Bisoprolol and put on Donedarone 400mg morning and evening a week ago . I have had some difficulties. My BP has gone up -mostly systolic, my pulsatilla Tinnitus has gotten worse - itās now so loud that I cannot sleep. However, probably the worst is a large number of ectopics mostly

10 days afib now finished HR too low?
After 10 days of seeing heart rate mainly over 100 but zooming up and down, it is now on the 50s and little energy to move. Presumable the Bisoprolol working too well. Is this normal? I am not faint or dizzy
