Possibility of Chest Pain caused by Medication
Since having two stents in April last year (LAD) I have been taking Isosorbide Mononitrate, Clopidogrel, Doxazosin, Bisoprolol and Atorvastatin. I have been getting chest pain and sometimes discomfort (in waves) radiating into my neck and jaw quite frequently plus slight dizziness. Had Angiogram today

Ablation
Hi everyone I have AF and after a 7 day monitor which showed 24% AF, echo & a MRI I have been told by my cardiologist that my left Atruim is dilated mildly and will stretch further with AF even though I am on Bisoprolol and Apixiban and not feeling symptoms at the moment. He would recommend an ablation

Ablation
Hi everyone I have just been diagnosed with a left atrium dialation and advised to have an Ablation as a7 day monitor showed a lot of Atrial fibrillation even though I am on Bisoprolol & Apixiban. I am extremely anxious about having a heart procedure as it is so scary and I am now fine on the dose

AFIB and Anxiety relief
I was diagnosed with Afib 3 years ago literally to the day and have found over the last few months that episodes have become more regular but sinus rhythmm is restored by using bisoprolol 2. The time it takes to restore NSR is directly correlated to my anxiety levels. . I used to take citalopram to

Beta blockers and rash
Has anyone developed a rash from beta blockers? I had a horrible rash from 10 mg of metoprolol and doc put me on bisoprolol 5 mg. I am now starting to get same rash on bisoprolol after 3 weeks of taking med. I just can’t tolerate beta blockers. The rash is systemic and affects my entire body.

Longer term side effects of flecainide and bisoprolol
I’ve been on both medications now for around 13 months now and they seem to be working well. Over the last number of months I’ve had itchy skin (my back particularly) and also what seems to be dry mouth. Has anyone experienced side effects that appear after being on the medication for I guess six months

Rate related LBBB & Bisoprolol
Hi all, I was diagnosed last year with rate related left bundle branch block after some strange sensations in my upper chest when working out in the gym. I’m 43 years old and apparently healthy on all other fronts, heart all good in other areas and no history of high blood pressure, but to run checks

Hello from a Newbie
I’ve had palpitations for years, however, the GP has never been able to trap them, in November I went for a routine ECG and was informed I was in AF, at long last it was trapped, I was so relieved as I was starting to think it was all imagined. I was sent to Ambulatory Care, another ECG, not in AF again

I have an heart condition which is being treated with medication. I take Lansaprozole, Aspirin, Bisoprolol, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Losartin and Rovastatin. I did take Clodiprogrel until a month ago but it has been over 12 months since I had an angioplasty and two stents fitted one in each coronary artery

Change from paroxysmal AF to persistent AF
I started with AF about 2 or 3 years ago. Have been on low dose bisoprolol which meant I might have had a mini attack every 6 weeks or so. Since November however when as a result of stress issues in my life I was getting mini attacks almost everyday that lasted a minute or so or much longer. I have

Can any heart meds cause sneezing bouts/rhinitis. Can you use steroid nose spray &/or any any histamines on heart meds?
Have been on bisoprolol, ACE inhibitor, blood thinner, anti platelets, diruretic for 5/6 months post STEMI followed by constant AFib with successful cardio version 2/3 months ago. Now only short infrequent fleeting AFib. Last 3 weeks episodes of sneezing and blocked nose. Not like a cold and I’ve not

Enalapril
Hi all, I had HA &stent 10/2020, left with some heart damage (15% not working) after 1yr stopped Clopidogrel👍🏻. I have stopped taking Ramipril in Dec 21 re side effects, cardiologist advised I start Enalapril, so reviews on this med would be appreciated. I have also cut down my bisoprolol 2.5 mg

Coming off Bisoprolol
I was taking 1.25 of Bisoprolol and it was decided that as all my results were clear, I could come off it. So, last Wednesday I went cold turkey. Considering I've only been on the medication since the beginning of December, the side effects have been awful coming off it I have massive anxiety, insomnia
