I would say the

My oncologist in California is ordering one for me. What should I expect or, rather, look for from this test? Thank you

Breast Cancer
I was shocked to get this diagnosis after a call back from my routine mammogram, another mammogram, an ultrasound, and finally a
biopsy
. I'm sure I will be fine but it is still scary. What is the recovery time like for a lumpectomy?

Sister Intubated, Induced Coma
A
biopsy
culture so far has showed nothing. She remains stable, but detached. I am grateful but can’t stop shaking. I can’t seem to leave the past behind. If I can’t leave the past behind I can’t be positive and move forward. It is very hard to see her even now.

Results from trans rectal bipsy
I had spent a week in the hospital from the sepsis from the transrectal
biopsy
. Back home with a midline for an afternoon IV for the next week. Strike one against my Dr. who poo-pooed the transperineal. The results were that there was cancer but still within the prostate capsule - stage 2.

Discoid Lupus itchy scalp more bald patches what to do to ease it?
After a
biopsy
in 2021 which confirmed lupus (scalp) I was prescribed Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine sulfate). Having a long history of being prescribed very strong drugs here in France and becoming unwell from them I didn't take the treatment and finally got to see my normal dermatologist.

Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
To my dismay during the procedure, the gynae pointed out on the screen a huge mass occupying most of the uterine cavity, which he said was a polyp and is sending
biopsy
to labs to confirm. I am feeling really hopeless today and uncertain about the future.

Update: re my "draining fluid" post
They kept me in, planning to do a kidney
biopsy
, but the local NHS specialist hospital couldn't accommodate me immediately, (maybe done in 3-4 weeks) so they are going to be monitoring me as an outpatient until then.

Looking for advice on Viewray MRI guided SBRT
Quick background: age 55, family history (father), had mpMRI and

in 2020, G 3+4 cribriform, had focal TULSA in 2021 (roughly 1/3 of gland). Latest MRI shows two Priad 4 lesions (non-treated side), now embarking on the next leg of this adventure...

So he then scheduled a
biopsy
which I had June 26th. I got my pathology report today. Stage “1” fibrosis. So I suppose Ocaliva has worked wonders in my case. Stage 2 fibrosis at diagnosis in 2017 so it has decreased a little. happy to say I’m at ease now.

Is it Asthma COPD or Anxiety?
, by now I’m frightened, being fast tracked and cancer was being mentioned a lot, I had the surgery on 8th August and 2 weeks later was told the
biopsy
they took was benign and all was ok.

Reviewing my final Path report, post RP
My first
biopsy
was 3+3 so was AS subject to a confirmation
biopsy
in 6 mos, which came back 3+4. I thought about asking for a second opinion but was told the
biopsy
was pretty conclusive. So, I did it.

Biopsy pathology not endometriosis
So they are surprised the
biopsy
didn't show endometriosis. I've been having bad flare ups but avoiding going to the gp because I assumed it was the "endo" and my new normal... I fear I've been ignoring something else. What did they remove from my bladder!? Feeling anxious.

Good news!
Since a trial unfortunately a 3rd Bone Marrow
Biopsy
. Ugh - but soon to be pill free. It will be interesting to see if I feel different after stopping the meds.
