It is early in the morning and I felt that I needed to tell somebody this info. It needs to be people that can really understand….. that’s where the people in this community come in, since you understand what we go through! Six years ago today I was diagnosed with stage 4, 4 plus 3 w over 25 metastases

HRT with APS and Lupus
I was wondering if anyone takes HRT that has APS and or Lupus. I’m in blood thinners and on immune suppression drugs and also had a stroke so I’m not sure if this would be something I could take. Experiencing very low moods and crying a lot so thinking I’m peri menopausal. Thanks

Non-adt prostate cancer treatment
I was recently diagnosed with stage 3, non-metastatic prostate cancer: Gleason score 7 (half 3/4, half 4/3). I have had both hips previously replaced. I recently had three stents inputted. I don't like the feel and taste of androgen replacement therapy. Does anyone know of a legitimate entity

negative antibodies
Hi. I’m wondering what you should test or look out for if you have negative antibodies for hypothyroid whilst having a higher TSH number? I get my bloods done every 4 months. The TSH is high, but not high enough to be medicated for (in the UK). I get my bloods done by the nurse and there’s no chat with

Recent Diagnosis
Good evening everyone, I’m new to this forum. My somewhat depressing story is in my bio. Anyone had a similar diagnosis that’s further down the line and can offer any encouragement? To scan or not to scan, that is the question.
I've had my two years on ADT, and now I'm 6 months into my "vacation" (iADT) PSA has hit 2.0, and the plan is to restart ADT when it hits 5.0. Assuming there are no complications, I'm okay with that plan. Also assuming there are no complications, my MO says we won't be doing a PSMA scan, or any radiation

What does ‘neuroendocrine differentiation' mean in metastatic prostate cancer?
My 71 year old dad has been diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer with neuroendocrine differentiation - he had absolutely zero symptoms until a lymph node on his neck swelled up. It’s metastasised to his lower spine and sternum too. He’s just had his oncology appointment today and they’re going to

Dealing with the Anxiety and Depression From Cancer
There recently was an excellent discussion about the how to overcome anxiety and depression caused by this cancer. It seemed to focus on the use of medicines and some herbal solutions. While I have no issue with that approach I was going to attach my comments to that thread and had second thoughts for

Hi All Please can you give me some advice? I would like to begin taking Estrogen (Lenzetto spray) and Progesterone (Utrogestan) again. I am fearful though, when I began taking it last time my TSH went up to 28 so had to stop taking it. I was taking it a few hours in a morning after my thyroid

Change to medication
Hi everyone, I have been taking 150mg of thyroxine for over 10 years. At the beginning of the year, I spoke to my doctor because my fatigue was increasing, I didn't feel like myself, and I was having heavy periods. I thought I was starting to become perimenopausal. The doctor said I was depressed

What to expect after Decapeptyl and Tibolone - Any advice
Hi All Following excision of Endometriosis , I started Decapeptyl and Tibolone for 4 months. The aim was to give body a reset and to see how things are after the treatment. As the 4 months are up I am wondering what to expect going forward. Should I stop HRT cold turkey or wean myself off it? Does

Older adult with tinnitus suddenly
I am a healthy 79 year old woman who still runs one marathon a year. Had tinnitus suddenly occur in both ears. My question is does anyone associate tinnitus with HRT or dementia?

Euthyroid Thyroid Eye Disease
I have had problems with one eye for 9 months now. Started with gritty feeling, watering eye. Inflammation and baggy eye bags. Then fatty bumps appeared to be coming through above one eye, and one eye ball seems slightly higher than the other, and pushed forward slightly. Then came the double vision
