hi all, I'm looking for some advice from those who are suffering or have suffered with bulimia. My girlfriend has bulimia. She admits that it used to very serious back before I knew her, making herself sick after every meal. Now, she only does it now and again (that I know of). I've tried to help her

Week 2 Weigh in...
So I maintained this week, no weight loss even though I've upped my exercise and have been pretty good staying off the processed carbohydrates.... Feeling a bit useless at the moment to be honest. I have my period and do tend to put a couple of pounds on when I do, so hoping I'll be able to loose a bit

Am I Missing Something?
Hi All I'm pretty new to this thyroid thing, but I've had asthma for a silly amount of time and have kept a record of my peak flow and medications for years, firstly on paper and then on an Android App. I thought I'd try to find an app that would let me keep a record of my test results, what medication

A Long Time Suffering
Not sure where to start, I have never really admitted this to other people. I have lived with an ED really for so long that it's just my life now. I started with Anorexia after the birth of my first child , I was 20 and I dropped to 7st which for me looks horrendous. I am now in my sixties and still

Tips/advice for me to self help?
Hi, im 27, I was bulimic when I was 23. Which I have managed to over come. Partly because I live at home with patents still and if they were to find out I was bulimic I don't think they'd understand and I'd have far worse stress to deal with. I also had therapy got it. Which was canclled half way through

I love myfitnesspal!
Thanks so much to whoever recommended the app ( I wish there was a "threads I'm on" button so I can check). I only started my attempt at healthy living a week ago. In my first post I said I was thinking of cutting out snacks and cutting down portions, because I couldn't face the faff of calorie counting

Do I actually need help?
I've been going through cycles of binging and purging for the last 2 or so years, currently I'm looking to go to university and the whole Idea of living with strangers has prompted me to try and get help. But recently I read that people can only be diagnosed with Bulimia if they b/p at least twice a

Reflexology
I have just returned from a reflexology session, I am now feeling very relaxed but I was pleased/interested that she picked up thyroid parathyroid and adrenal issues. (She also picked up digestive issues.) I'm hoping to go regularly and re-energise my poor thyroid. Better than a visit to the doctors
