Extreme Anxiety Issues
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I probably won't be around very long since I know it's not good for me to be on sites like these with my anxiety. Anyway, over the past couple of weeks my anxiety has flared for no reason whatsoever. It's hard for me to leave the house now without feeling like I'm

Cognition tests for DBS
Asking those of you who have had DBS or who are current candidates: what kind of cognition tests were you given and how well (or badly) did you do on them? Did any of you have a negative evaluation and then another more positive one?

DBS feedback
I am being evaluated for DBS. I know most of the benefits and risks and am finding that I seem to only hear about the success stories. Of course it's natural that people with a negative experience would be underreported for obvious reasons. I am asking for feedback from all who have had DBS; the good

Sleep method for DBS surgery
It's been quite awhile since I posted anything. I've had Parkinson's for over six years. My biggest issue is freezing, slowness, and stiffness. I live in Denver and am considering DBS and am curious if any one has under the asleep version of the surgery and what your experience has been.

Post surgery / adenoma ovary
Firstly much respect to all you lovely ladies going through this dreadful disease . I am almost sorry to ask but I feel I'd like to know . I had my second consultation today post surgery for ovary and Fallopian tube removal with a complex cyst . I was so relieved to hear two weeks ago this was benign

Stuck with worsening of CFS symptoms and no help
Hi, I'm new here. Have been following you about 3 weeks now. And, can I just say - this forum is a life saver! I am 59. I just went to see a different Dr in the same practice, as I have got much worse lately. At first I came upon this site to try and find a solution to a problem that had been plaguing

Need help!! Reoccurring shooting pains in head for nearly a year
I don't know if anyone can help but I'm at a loss. Since November 2016 I have been suffering with intense shooting pains and pressure in the left side of my head , face and neck, they make me feel dizzy and sick and sometimes I feel like I have weird tingles all over my body. It's making me loose sleep

Cold numb feet, trouble walking, leg pain.
I'm still having a hard time dealing with these supposed somatic symptoms. Brain and cervical MRI came out clear except for a few bulging discs. Trembling, vision problems muscle spasms, frequent urinations.Unfortunately I believe I've been misdiagnosed with anxiety and depression . All my symptoms

AF and Acute Bronchitis
I was prescribed
Biaxin
and prednisone. Prior to taking these meds I was doing quite well. When I had device checks every 3 months it would indicate that I had only had 3 or 4 events that lasted like 8 seconds.

sharing my 2 cents...
I've had PD for 3 yrs diagnosed, maybe 5 all toll. I'll be 70 in Nov, and my toes curl all the time on my rt effected side for many reasons. Med on and off, going in or wearing off. If I stuck to the proper schedule all would be fine.I take250/100 Sinimet 4 times a day, and 2 250 selegiline a day. Asiltec

Hey Anyone ever had an MRI that identified cysts on the brain? Apparently I have a pineal cyst that isn't anything to worry about and another cyst in the fourth ventricle that they want to rescan to check what it is exactly. Trying not to worry Thank you 😊

Shingles vaccine
Hi, my wife has recently been diagnosed with CLL fortunately at 0 stage at present. I have reached a landmark age (70) triggering an invite for a Shingles vaccination which I am believe is a live vaccine and if I have a reaction this could be a potential danger to someone with a compromised immune system

Hair falling out please help? I'm nervous and stressing.
Hey, so I have hair falling out left and right and it's really stressing me out and affecting my mood. My doctor said I'm not at a point just yet to start medicine, but I want my hair to stop falling out so fast. Is there anything I can do? My hair is about at my armpits and I'm cutting above my shoulders
