And they are looking at pcos diagnosis now and i been told i should get a letter for an ultra sound scan soon. All this

Anyway, I remember that the medicine that was helping me a lot was "Calcipotriene .005% and
Betamethasone
Dipropianate.064%" (very expensive) if your insurance can pay for that medicine, try ... it's really excellent. (sorry for my English, I am originally from Peru), God bless you guys.

First Week Following First Chemo
It has been and interesting week after my first chemo treatment. First, the Benedryl used in the premeds resulted in a hilararous math problem solving discussion with my wife. Received an hour of cabazitaxel and then and hour of carboplatin. At the conclusion, I received a Neulasta shot. So, my experience

Systemic (Intramuscular) Corticosteroid Injection (Betamethasone) for Inflammatory Pain
Hello Everyone, Greetings from Bolivia. About a week ago I had an Intramuscular Corticosteroid Injection in my butt for chronic pain in my spine, hips, pelvis. Unfortunately, it seems the pain is getting worse. I'm also concerned I may develop some of the horrible side effects associated with steroid

Dexamethasone versus prednisone
I have been trying to get my Endocrinologist to adjust the dose of prednisone so that I can take a steroid that is better for my adrenals. Since I have been taking between 8.5 and 9 mg of prednisone I am now to take 6.5 mg of prednisone and 1/2 of 0.5 mg of Dexamethasone. Which to me is 0.25 of dexamethasone

Non-PCa Prescription Drugs: Thalidomide / Lenalidomide (Revlimid)
This post was triggered by Dale's post: "Leibowitz Protocol". "Dr. Bob" may have moved on during the intervening 10 years, but I was intrigued by his use of Thalidomide & Lenalidomide to inhibit angiogenesis. Tumors cannot outgrow their blood supply unless they make extensions to existing blood vessel

Not sure how to interpret results of new tests
Labs both late or missed PSA this time around. First time tested T and DHT. Look like good results to me, but don't have any experience with them so thought I would throw them out her and see if I am evaluating them right. DHT--<5 L T, total,LC/MS/MS ---7L Due for next Lupron shot Monday. Adding Xtandi

CRPC & Avodart [Dutasteride].
New study below. Some may recall that I'm in favor of shutting off all escape paths while on ADT - e.g. via Zytiga, Casodex, Simvastatin & Avodart. If you are closing the door, close the windows too. The conventional view is that since 5alpha-reductase converts testosterone [T] to dihtdrotestosterone

1 week after taking Methotrexate
For the last two months I was on Dexamethasone 4mg and was able to be normal. I could walk, run and even use my hands as before. It was a normal Christmas and New Year. However, my Rheumatologist took me of them. Slowly my RA returned and I am back to square one...with serve joint pains in the hands

New Rheumatologist, but where to now??
I have been reading with great interest whisperits last post on his visit to the sleep consultant and also Twitchy's last CTD appointment. Both just show basically what a mess we are all in with regards to treatment and help as we fall helplessly between all specialities. It is the rare medic who sticks

Hi all This may be a long post as it's been a stressful few days! I am interested to hear of anyone's experience of brain mets? What were the symptoms? My mum who has stage 4 Adenocarcinoma was admitted to hospital on Saturday with confusion and incontinence. She had seemed a bit unwell throughout last

how do you fast before Chemo? I have a drug to take that requires food with it "DEXAMETHASONE" ~~
I told my doctor...that I was going to fast at least 36 hours before and also the day of my chemo and he said it wasn't necessary. I've read so much including from the NIH about how good it is for best results. My question is...I have been given a pill to take 12 hours before and 3 hours before(the dexamethasone
