I recently just had a low dexamethasone suppression test at the hospital to test for Cushings disease as my GP and Consultant wanted to rule it out. Good news is i dont have cushings! And they are looking at pcos diagnosis now and i been told i should get a letter for an ultra sound scan soon. All this testing and waiting seems to be taking forver! Is there much more they do to get a diagnosis. As they have already put me on Metformin even though i am not diabetic.

To test if you have PCOS, what will your GP/ doctor do? Do you get an x-ray or a blood test?
