Hi Luu2018,
Were you given any instructions by the hospital carrying out the test?
On the leaflet given to patients having the overnight Dexamethasone Suppression Test at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham it says:
“Preparation for your test
• Your doctor or nurse will give you a prescription for dexamethasone 1 mg tablet
• Please take dexamethasone 1 mg tablet at 11:00pm, the night before your blood test
• You can eat and drink as normal”
I don’t know if they differ from hospital to hospital. Perhaps you should mention it, when you go for your test in the morning.
