Repeating time after ketamine in ICU.
I was recently in the ICU. The first night I was on a breathing tube. I fought it so hard they tied my arms down and gave me 14 bottles of Ketamine to keep me under all night. I don't remember anything from that night. But, for the first 5 hours after waking up, I repeated several 15-20 minute blocks

T3 lower, TSH much higher after T3/T4 time-release - take T3 only, or T3 with levo?
Hi all, I'm from the U.S. but find info here great so wonder if you could advise what I should do next. Main question is, should I take T3 (5 mcg.) only to flush out RT3? Or take the T3 in addition to my old T4 levothyroxine, and if so, 75 mcg. of the T4 or just take 37.5 mcg (1/2 tab)? This was first

Betaine HCL+Pepsin
Although my wife still has gastric issues and with converting T4 to T3, and is on both Levo & Lio, I thought I would post something positive on Betaine. Since she has been taking it from some two years ago, 2 per day only, with lunch & dinner, she has not suffered at all from acid reflux, for which she

3 weeks post op after total hysterectomy
Hello I hope everyone's well. I haven't been on for a while due to my recent surgery: total hysterectomy. Before my surgery I was told my ureters would both be stented to protect them, I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis, my consultant was trying to protect them. I have to say if this is offered

Hi there, have had treatment-resistant MDD for 14 years. Been on every medication except the MAOIs, and had a little success with IV ketamine. I’m wondering if any of you have had any improvement in symptoms using essential oils and/or the new stimulator that’s out - it’s for home use but I think it’

Is fibromyalgia real
Hi, Is fibromyagia real in the sense it can be proven ? Could someone fake having fibromyalgia for years without proof due to the fact there are no diagnostic testings ? My friend said that there was no evidence for it, and that it mainly occurs in females, those that are poorer, have anxiety/ depression

Many years back i saw Dr Edwards as he was then, about my condition. He informed me it was FND and that they had a plan to get me back to fulll health, or at least as close as they could. The first step of that plan was to get my overwhelming pain under control. Ever since i have been under the Pain

Low stomach acid
Hello all. As so many of us I have low stomach acid and want to do something about it. I would like to know what your experiences are with trying to solve the problem, e.g. Taking Betaine HCL or Apple Cider Vinegar. I am interested in effectiveness, which doses you used and which side effects you might

Help with NDT / T3 dosing please, and ferritin!
Hi there, I'm 49, and was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s around 2014/15. I took thyroxine 50mcg for about a year, which didn’t help much, then increased to 75mcg thyroxine plus 10 - 20 mcg T3 per day (seems I don’t convert too well) I was actually feeling pretty ok on this dose, though not quite my old self

Betadine prep
Does anyone have a reaction to the
betadine
prep. My eye lid swells almost shut and the dragging feeling is almost unbearable. My pain tolerance is high but this pushes the limit.

Eyelea at 4 month break
The
betadine
prep is usually worse than the injection. This time I purchased a bottle of eye wash just like the one they use post injection. I used the wash and it made a huge difference. I used eye drops but I also rinsed it frequently with sterile eye wash. Eyesright hang in there.

Doctor prescribed me iodine, but far less than recommended
I just had a chat with the rogue doctor, they suspect mitochondrial issues. In the mean time while I get my amino acids tested I am advised to take iodine, but less than I did before (150-350 mcg), they recommended as little as 50 mcg at first for long term to see what happens. I am also getting tested
