Diabetic Toothpaste ? Yes, you have read correctly , Colgate , the world leader in Toothpaste, now has launched a Toothpaste for Diabetes.
If you are using any commercial toothpaste , if you read through the list of ingredients , you will find a dozen of Synthetic chemical additives in it- some are preservatives, some are foaming agents, some are cleansing agents, some are dispersing agents, some are for flavour and many such things . Dental treatment on Apixaban
Hi everyone, I am in the unfortunate position of needing a dental implant for a broken front tooth/crown. Not only is this extremely expensive but I am also concerned about bleeding as I am on apixaban. Has anyone had a similar experience with invasive dental treatments whilst on blood thinners?

Antibiotics triggering your RLS???
Hi folks! Just a query about whether any of you have experienced RLS from antibiotics. I currently have an intractable UTI that I've had since about the 20th of January. I'm on my third lot of antibiotics and I've been given Co-Amoxiclav, a combination antibiotic. On the second day of use I had very

Starting Rubraca
I saw my onc today, and the Carbo/Caelyx has worked well, so I will be starting Rubraca in the next few weeks after some pressing dental treatment. I shall doubtless be troubling you ladies with all sorts of PARP type queries! Jenny

Cold Sores and Rituximab
Hi Everyone Great news about the very positive effect the vaccines are having on Covid cases - onwards and upwards. Does anyone have any ideas why I have had 4 cold sores in 4 or 5 weeks? They started before my Covid vaccine so it isn't that. I had my last round of Rituximab in November 2020 after

Is it the case in the U.K. nowadays that only Dental Hospitals can administer anaesthetics for tooth extractions ?

Bleeding gums
I’ve had bleeding gums on and off for years, dentist said due to ET and medication. But lately the bleeding has got a lot worse, one day I even had a couple of clots in my mouth, plus bright red blood coming from my gums around my back teeth. They’re feeling quite sore and my throat is also starting

Still petrified.
Thankyou so very much for the lovely replies. As expected, scan showed increase in size of nodes, so more chemo in 3weeks time. I did notice that the staff on day unit are only wearing masks, no shields, which i was surprised to see, when i was having port flush yesterday. Now i have another dilemma

Mouth ulcer
I’ve been having lots of mouth ulcers lately. The latest one I got around 3 weeks ago and it’s getting worse. It’s extremely painful all around the tooth and gun and got so big it’s rubbed on my tooth and it’s got black inside it. Nothing seems to be helping. Anyone had similar experience and found
