PSA 10.7 to 4.5 3 weeks later 45yo
3 weeks ago I had a PSA test added to my annual physical blood work. I'm very healthy and no sypmtoms. Came back at a shocking 10.7. My primary doc called me on Saturday to tell me to get an appt with urologist asap. Had an elevated WBC too. Was able to get in to see the urologist's assistant that Monday

Second scan -- now what?
After a year the second scan produced the following impression from the radiologist, "1. Marked improvement in radiotracer avid osteoblastic metastasis and marked improvement in radiotracer avid nodal metastasis. Radiotracer avid disease in the prostate has also markedly improved." Why is my PSA so low?
For about 9 years after my last HIFU, my PSA hovered in the 1.0 - 2.0 range, and testosterone around 200 or so. That's what they were in July 2023. But in January 2024, PSA plunged to 0.248 (T wasn't measured then). In early March, PSA continued down to 0.148, and testosterone crashed to 60, and free

optimal curative therapy?
Very fortunate still to have a chance for cure — Gleason 9 with post surgery LN involvement, but no distant mets detected. Received RT and about half way through a 2-year course of Lupron. PSA undetectable; tolerable SEs. Would adding Abiraterone or Apalutamide now maximize chance of cure or is it better

Orgovyx after 12 months
Just reaching the 12 month mark on Orgovyx. Lately, it is beginning to kick my ass. Just feel weak, depressed and unmotivated to exercise. Getting tired of hot flashes. I have put on about 15 lbs. since beginning ADT prior to radiation therapy. I was diagnosed GG3 (4+3=7), T2bN0M0. Lesion on one half

First dose Lutetium and adding enzalutamide
Hi all My Dad was unfortunately unable to join the DB-1311 trial because he developed extreme pneumonitis from Keytruda that landed him in the ICU for 2 weeks about 2 years ago, so he is no longer able to use any immunotherapy treatments moving forward. We have exhausted most options now but have lutetium

My Dad (77) was diagnosed in the spring with stage 4 prostate cancer, Gleason 10 with mets to spine. He has since started hormone therapy and had radiation to his prostate. PSMA Pet Scan results
Diagnosed with prostate cancer with 1 lesion Gleason 7 (4+3). Have had MRI, biopsy and just completed PSMA Pet Scan. I see my doctor next week. I received the results and surprised to show some uptake in a lymph node. There is focal avid uptake noted in the anterior peripheral zone of the prostate
