While I read everyday, I haven’t updated for almost 2 years

Life is still good, my husband is now on his 6th year of enzalutamide and Zolodex

Bone scan shows very little change, bit of skull uptake but the rib uptake shown on the scan 6 months ago has gone

PSA has bounced between 1 and 5 in the last two years but no pain, still walking 3 or 4 miles with the dog everyday. A little fatigue but nothing that disrupts life

Sending love

That's great I'm going on my 5th year. Just stopped Xtandi. I do take high dose Vitamin C IV's (75gm) and it really help with bone pain. You may want to look into that. I have a functional medicine doctor that prescribed it and administers it, I feel like it really helped me.

How often do you take the vitamin c infusions.

can you share what his initial diagnosis and Gleason score were. Is he taking 160 mg xtandi

He was diagnosed almost 10 years ago, PSA 700, widespread bone mets, never given a Gleason score

Yes, he takes 160mg Xtandi

That's great news to hear. May he have many more years ahead. My husband is in his 3rd year and is still doing relatively well. No chemo or radiation yet. Just Abi, Prednisone, Zoladex and possibly Niraparib (he's in a study so not 100% sure if it's the parb or placebo).

I'm new here as my dad is currently undergoing a diagnosis in the UK and reading your posts has really reassured me. Do you mind if I ask if your husband had any symptoms when first diagnosed? I'm really pleased to hear he is doing well :)
