INR 4.9!
Hello, I haven't posted in a long time. I am on Warfarin and I have never been able to get in range. Usually too low. Now I have another ailment with my lungs and am on Bactrim and other meds. My number is for the first time HIGH at 4.9. Is this dangerous?. My doctor told me to hold Warfarin for today

Prophylactic antibiotics
My rheumatologist wants me to go on Bactrim, three days a week, prophylactically in order to not contract some of the more obscure, dangerous illnesses such as pneumocystis. I’m on 60 mg prednisone for PMR/GCA with a plan to taper by 5 mg every two weeks if I tolerate that. I’m wondering with the research

C3GN-shingles?
My husband started cellcept, prednisone (80 mg), and
bactrim
DS
3 weeks ago. His nephrologist is out of the country. One of the other doctors suggested tapering down to 40mg and wait until nephrologist gets back in town. I’m curious if anyone got shingles and what your doctor suggested.

Pelvin pain
Similar story, 8 months ago penis tip pain. Was prescribed fungal creams then bactrim and cipro then doxy and then physio. Physio has seemed to helped the most with controlling things but pain is still there. I find that sitting makes it worse and i am ok with sex and masturbation as long as its not

VATS BIOPSY RESULTS FINALLY
Hi, I have posted a few times. I had a VATS lung biopsy and have a general diagnosis FINALLY. They first told me they were almost sure I had constrictive Bronchiolitis (thanks for those that have it who were so kind and helpful). The biopsy showed Cellular Interstitial Pneumonitis and most likely Hypersensitivity

Bronchiectasis and colonization
Hello, my question is because I have mild bronchiectasis in my right bottom lobe. I never had any symptom except since last november when I started with a thick green sputum: a sputum sample showed staph aureus. Took Bactrim for 20 days (it was sensitive according to the antibiogram) and anything happend

Desperately trying to figure out what’s going on with me...
I have been to my GP and he just put me on
Bactrim

, but never said what he thought it could be. I’ve researched and researched trying my best to figure out what could cause this. If you have any idea what this could be from, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Natural Treatment works on immune mechanisms
Data extracted from numerous studies have confirmed the involvement of immune mechanisms within the etiology, pathogenesis, and chronic pelvic pain development. Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill Can enhance immunity, eliminate infection and cure chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome effectively

Reaction to FCR or Medicine.
I had my first cycle of FCR in August. I had an allergy to something. Most likely the bactrim (sulfur) and was hospitalized twice. I also had a severe rash that covered my entire body except for my face (thank god!). My Oncologist has decided to put off any further treatments at this time. My WBC

UTI/Cystitis, something else? Always freaking out!
Hi all, I am new here and this is my first post so I am not sure how this all works yet. For the past 3 1/2 weeks I have had some weird feelings. Thought it was a UTI but urgent care said they just saw bacteria in my urine and sent me out the door. I do suffer from horrible anxiety and I do think it

Cut my hair.
So, i cut my hair Super short. It was a daring and brave decision on my part. I have never had short hair EVER! Ive been on plaquenil, bactrim, methotrexate, prednisone and folic acid. I also, just had Rituxan infusions about a month ago. My SLE and MCTD are stable now, unfortunately not in remission

Keep safe in the Sun
Chemotherapy treatments can cause your skin to be more sensitive to the sun that usual. Please take care. Nearly any chemotherapy agent (or non-cancer-related medications as well) may cause you to be more sensitive to the sun. It’s important to talk with your oncologist about your particular medications

Post infection IBS
I need help. I went to Peru in march of 2016 and came back with a bug. Long story short had 4 courses of antibiotics 2 with flagyl, 1 with cipro at the same time as flagyl, 1 with humatin and finally my naturopath figured it out. I had cyclospora. So 1 more with bactrim. I lost 22 pounds in 1.5 months

This was my Journey - It May be Helpful to You
I had my TURP (Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate) in October of 2011 at age 65. Subsequent analysis of the material removed showed cancer cells in less than 5% of the material and Gleason graded 3+3=6. I was staged T1a by my urologist. To say I was shocked when I was told I had the big C, is

Has anyone ever been treated with Bactrim?
I am wondering if anyone has ever been treated with the antibiotic Bactrim while having itp as it can cause drug induced itp on top of that which already exists? If numbers are in the 40's wouldn't that be dangerous?

Has anyone had severe reaction to Neupro
Hi Nightdancer. I hope you are still on this site. I have a sensation of internal vibrations. It started with simply a couple of nerves "jumping" in my feet. About 6 months ago the internal vibration feeling started in my left foot, then moved to my right foot and then one night the vibrations rapidly
