Has anyone ever been treated with Bactrim?

I am wondering if anyone has ever been treated with the antibiotic Bactrim while having itp as it can cause drug induced itp on top of that which already exists?  If numbers are in the 40's wouldn't that be dangerous?

My count is now between 29-40, and has been for about 18 months. The haematologists were I live aren't bothered until my count hits 10, or I am bleeding all over A&E. I don't have meds for the ITP either.

I was given Bactrim when my immune system was suppressed from all the other medications and I don't believe that it made matters worse as I was already between 0 & 5 at the time.

I take Septrin which is similar, every day as my immune system is rubbish. It hasn't done anything to my platelet count.
