Feeling 'drunk' and wearing contact lenses after trab surgery!

Before surgery I wore glasses for distance only whilst driving and I have always had Astigmatism. I now feel 'strange' most of the time but not in a blurry focus way - more like my Astigmatism has increased in that eye and things are a little wonky??

Finally I have a Sight long distance Reading!!

It is a massive astigmatism to the new distance len. I already had astigmatism before I told them I had astigmatism before surgery but hey ho did they listen. This is what annoys me so much with hospitals they never listen to patient.

Could B12 deficiency cause astigmatism?

I know that blurred vision is a symptom of B12d/PA but could astigmatism be possible as a result? I have been diagnosed with it and it seemed a curious thing to happen since I've had perfect eyesight for 45 years.

I’m afraid that I might have corneal neovascularization due to chronic eye inflammation. Any thoughts?

It wasn’t until I got prescription glasses for my astigmatism when I realized I no longer needed the drops as badly as I used to. After some weeks with my new glasses on, and I’ve stopped using eye lubricants altogether since I don’t suffer from extreme symptoms.

Traumatic afternoon at eye clinic!

I also had an opticians appointment this morning for new spectacles and was told the astigmatism in the right eye was worse than before and was probably due to the way the lens (after cataract op) was sitting.

Eye problems

I’ve since looked it up and my symptoms are consistent with an astigmatism which both just dad and my sister have, so not unsurprising. However since then I’m nothing my eyes are actually sore, esp my right eye and I have a slight spot in my right eye.

Dry eye gel for night time

None o.f this though has addressed the reason why my right eye is blurry, nor if it is possible to have astigmatism correction after the cataract op as it was not done in the right eye, but was in the left after my cataract op two weeks ago.

New here

He’s suggested cataract surgery on both eyes and MIGS on L with an i stent and a toric lens on right eye for astigmatism. I’m self funding but want to know if anyone has has experience of i stents or a toric lens - apparently they can rotate.

Advice please

I had my yearly ( which of course was a yr late) appointment with my optician she said my left eye has changed as in I have astigmatism. She said I need them scanned. Since then my right eye has become really blood shot. So my left is ‘jumping’ & the right is a bit blurry.

Anyone with similar condition? Anxiety, Depression, Dry eyes, heart palpitations, chronic fatigue, headaches etc.

Tests: Frequently changing eye prescriptions, nearsightedness and astigmatism present. Did some eye exams, misdiagnosed with infection-induced dry eyes. No dilated pupil exams were done (to check the back of the eye) Dry eyes seems to have some other cause.

Health anxiety

A few weeks ago I convinced myself that I was going blind because I’d been dealing with dry eyes/eye strain/eye floaters/etc so I went to an optometrist who confirmed that my eyes are healthy and there’s nothing to worry about and that I have astigmatism so I was prescribed glasses.

cataract surgery

Now then, apparently as told to me by surgeon, lowest lens, is $225 which he did not recommend, next up was $545, said this was best suited for me, even thought I do have astigmatism in eye that will be treated, Now, money is an issue for me, just before Christmas, and if you remember, my singon, diagnosed

Double Vision (Diplopia)

Monocular diplopia can be caused by: Astigmatism — This is an abnormal curvature of the front surface of the cornea. Keratoconus — The cornea gradually becomes thin and cone-shaped.

Eye Strain - Dizziness - Tingling Fingers & Foot - 1 Month later?

I have worn glasses since I was 5 years old and have a lazy left eye and astigmatism, I have had to change my glasses prescription since as it wasn’t strong enough but even with new glasses my eyes still can only manage about 1hr of screen time before going in and out of focus(left eye).

Computer job-OK with GCA?

I’m very near-sighted and have some astigmatism. Pred has made my baby cataracts worse but not bad enough for surgery, so far just glare from lights and some loss of detail.

Visiual Disturbances

Well I’ve gotten a MRI done since then because it started freaking me out, & everything came back normal; and I’ve also seen my eye dr which everything was normal as well (besides finding out I now have an astigmatism).

I’m so scared. I just want to be okay. Suicidal. Anxious 25/8

I saw a eye dr today and had an eye exam, everything was fine, she said my nerves looked beautiful, but i’m developing an astigmatism in my other eye and vision has kinda changed. It was so weird. I was fine until i got to googling stuff again. I’m so afraid.

Wonky Eyes

Just got an eye exam in August and new glasses, only thing that optometrist saw was astigmatism. Said optical neuritis wasn't present, but whenever I wake up I see weird stuff, like images that aren't there, flashing lights and stuff.

I’m losing my vision

I’ve been to the eye doctor about it and she said I have a slight astigmatism, but....would a slight astigmatism make this happen? Another reason why I’m scared for my vision is because I get ocular migraines.
