Plavix and ITP
I was on Plavix and baby
aspirin
along with Zoloft. Was anyone on the same or similar medications when diagnosed. Initially my Dr thought the medication caused the low platelets.

Who has had Covid?
I’m 38 and ET is my only health issues - platelets around 1.2 million, triple negative, on
aspirin
only as considered extremely low risk I’m in the US and stayed inside for almost a year and a half, even kept my kids how half of school last year. This year things had seemed better.

New to PV and MPN Voice
Since August, I have had 4 therapeutic phlebotomies, started on low dose
aspirin
and about 3 weeks ago started on HU. My hematocrit, RBC and platelets have all been lowered with all but platelets within normal range now. Another blood test this coming week.

Angiogram clear, what next? Microvascular?
He has said I can stop my angina meds which is basically just the
aspirin
as I was already on the beta blockers as a migraine preventative and I haven't needed to use the GTN spray. I'll still stay on the statins for my cholesterol until I speak to a doctor about another blood test to check levels.

Splitting a tablet
I take 75mg of
aspirin
daily, and I have been splitting a 300mg
aspirin
into four. How confident can we be that a quarter of a pill will contain more-or-less 75mg of active ingredient? What does anyone think?

Restless legs
Haven’t had this with any of my other transfers but also on a lot more meds this time (progynova, cyclogest,
aspirin
, Clexane and prontogest). I have a feeling it’s maybe the prontogest progesterone injections but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? x

A compound isolated from chaga protected brain cells from Parkinson’s disease
Since chaga may stop platelet aggregation, it should not be taken in combination with blood-thinning medications, such as
aspirin
and warfarin to prevent the risk of bleeding [36]. Chaga may also lower blood sugar levels.

Myelofibrosis and tingling limbs
Myelofibrosis and tingling limbs I've recently been diagnosed with myelofibrosis having had essential thrombocypomia for over 20 years with no symptoms and only low dose
aspirin
. My white blood cells are normal, my platelets a little low and I'm slightly anemic.

Things are settling down...
So I was taken off nitrates and
aspirin
. This meant I could stop lansoprazole which was messing up my digestive system. I am now being treated for high blood pressure which is down to 120/80 avg with the amlodipine. Cholesterol is improving due to statins. I take both meds in the evening.

Switching from Eliquis to a one a day 325mg Aspirin
Hi guys, just curious, Has anybody been on Eliquis and then changed to one
aspirin
325 mg a day instead? I was diagnosed with Afib in 2018 but have maybe one episode a year so my Dr. told me to switch from Eliquis to one 325mg
aspirin
a day.

ET - Pregnancy
Baby
aspirin
. Recently had my check 6 month review and all ok. My platelets are stable at ~850. We’re trying for another baby, which is a rollercoaster in itself. I don’t know anyone’s pregnancy that was quite so complicated as mine. Seems quite daunting to hopefully do it again.

Should I skip aspirin after a covid vaccine?
Hi can I still take my low-dose
aspirin
the day I got the covid vaccine? Because they gave a leaflet that says try to avoid nsaids like ibuprofen and
aspirin
is part of that family right? I’m thinking of just skipping for a few days but I’m not sure if that is advisable.

Thyroiditis causing possible hyperthyroidism symptoms.
I just want to know if this has happened to anyone else as they are worried about my heart rate and have put me on
aspirin
as had an episode last week when I temporarily lost the sight in my right eye which went away after 20 minutes but sending me to the TIA team to rule out that.

Clopidogrel/Aspirin alternative
Clopidogrel gives me a dull ache in the back of my throat and windpipe (almost like angina symptoms), and
Aspirin
irritates my stomach/intestinal tract even when taken along with a PPI.
